CaP, Pressure Connector

The CaP, patented heart of the CaP System, is a revolutionary non-metallic F male connector designed to make every coaxial termination simple, quick and reliable and to drastically reduce all typical problems which arise in terminating coaxial cables. CaP, used with our speci c adapters (see Sheet A), becomes a connector usable in all existing coaxial standards. CaP, applied directly on any device equipped with F female connectors (see Sheet B), allows for the best possible quality connection.

CaP as an F male connector

CaP is a direct replacement of a traditional F male connectors, either screw-on, crimp or compression type, so it can be used to connect directly to any device equipped with F female connectors. By not using the standard F metal connector you take away the main part of the connection therefore you remove all interferences in the radiofrequency signal transmission. CaP, being non-conductive, is the best and only solution to rmly connect a cable to a device, with a single and direct contact of both centre conductor and braid.

Terminate connection with Pu-PuCaP

To allow for an easier installation of the CaP onto large devices, in restricted spaces or when F female connectors are placed very closed together, we developed a speci c inserter/extractor tool (Pu-PuCaP).

5-c

INSTALLATION Insert the CaP in the speci c groove positioned at the top of the Pu-PuCaP and insert the central conductor into the F female connector. Slide the CaP over the F female, thus folding the braid and jacket over the thread. Terminate the connection by swinging and at the same time pushing forward the Pu-PuCaP up to the complete insertion of the CaP onto the F female connector.

REMOVAL Hook the Pu-PuCaP on the CaP by means of the speci c groove of the tool. Swing and at the same time pull down the Pu-PuCaP up to the complete disconnection of the CaP and cable from the device.

INSTALLATION Insert the centre conductor into the F female connector and fold the braid and jacket over the thread by sliding the CaP over it. Lay the coaxial cable through the at side of the professional pliers (ProCaP). Slip the connector groove in the ngers on the far side. Gently squeeze the pliers to secure the connector. Unlike compression connectors, CaP does not require force. REMOVAL With the ProCaP fully open, insert the connector groove in the middle ngers and squeeze the handles to open the connection.

INSTALLATION Insert the centre conductor into the F female connector and fold the braid and jacket over the thread by sliding the CaP over it. Insert the connector between the handles tips of the economic pliers (PiCaP). To terminate the connection squeeze the handles, placing your hand near the connector to obtain greater leverage. REMOVAL Insert the connector groove in the ngers (closed) at the top of the PiCaP and squeeze the handles to open the connection.
