Nowadays it has also been used and considered as the universal language as it is the major communication tool for science events, business, aviation, entertainment and diplomacy all over the world. English is important for our future life such as to find a job, to be able to have conversations with foreigner.

For example, the English of today is the result of the spread of English from its historical boundaries to its current position as the preeminent global mean of communication.

1. The first stage could be called prehistoric stage. English wasnt born in England. It travelled with the Anglo-saxon migrants to the English island. 3. The third and last stage is called finished product. Its hard and even not correct to place it in our days. As a matter of fact, those who spoke the language of Beowulf between the 8th and 11th century did not view their language as a developmental stage of some future language, just like how we do not today. The development of any language is always in a continuous process whose new changes could never be able to break the flow of the long linguistical progress.
