What access to the books on the reading list and any other library resources do you have in your school/institute?

Describe where you expect to do most of your studying. Do you have a quiet, comfortable place to study? Will you be studying in the evening or mornings? Do you have access to the internet?

Section two About language and teaching

What is the PPP approach? How does this compare with other approaches like ARC and ESA?

What do you understand about Task Based Learning? Would you be able to use a TBL approach in your current teaching situation? Expand on your answer.

Think of five different ways in which we express the future in English.

Think of three functions of the passive voice in English.

What would be a suitable context for teaching Should and Ought to for advice to a multinational (South American, Asian and European) group of pre-intermediate students?

How would you drill If I had known, I would not have done it to a group of students? What features of pronunciation and form would you focus on and how?

Think about intonation list three grammar functions of intonation and show the pattern for each one. Now list three attitudes and show the pattern for each of these.
