Campbell has obtained $5,000 in grant money from the state. She said an anonymous community member has offered $10,000 in matching funds. Campbell is also working to secure $6,500 from a NASA grant. She said all of the funding is needed to create the most competitive robot possible.

The students will travel to Stillwater Jan. 5 where this year's building project will be unveiled. The team will then have six weeks to build their robot to compete at the regional in April.
