PRAYER AND PRAISE

Please continue to pray for Judy Miller as she recovers from her open-heart surgery. The doctors are pleased with her progress, but she has a long way to go before being pain free - let alone cleared to run a marathon! Please pray that the church Kindy will be complete in every way by December 4th. Please pray that the Lord would raise up people from WHAC to bless, and welcome, and reach out to the families who will be involved with the church Kindy. Please pray for John and Nicolette, in addition to all of the Nanjans, as they welcome their new baby into their home and their hearts. Please continue to pray for the McGowans. May the Lord keep His hand upon David especially as he struggles with his many challenges. Please pray that our ladies night would be a wonderful evening, and a blessing to the Lord, and all who attend. Preparations for Christmas outreaches are underway in Taiwan, including childrens English classes and special events in local villages. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Alliances workers during this time.

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The Childrens Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

NEWS
The Community Christmas Celebration th Mark 15 December on your calendars with something bright and bold, because that's the date for our Community Christmas celebration, and you truly don't want to miss it! The evening is open to anybody who wants to come, so please feel free to invite friends and family; all we ask is that you bring a salad for 10-12 people, and a dessert.

Romans 4:16-22 Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarahs womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God.

Our faith gives glory to God! If we do not put faith in God, then who are we giving the credit for everything that God has done in our lives? Ourselves. If we do not see God as the one behind all good things, then we must give the credit to someone else. But when we become people of faith, people who depend on God for everything, then we honour God for everything in our lives. When we give thanks for our meals, we are not just mouthing words; we really are acknowledging that God has provided for us. Have you realised yet that God is the One who has provided you with your job, your health, and everything else important to you? We rarely think of it, but every breath and every heartbeat we have is ordained by God. Every second of our life depends on Him. As your faith grows, and it becomes more and more evident and obvious that God is at work in your life, then your faith becomes a witness to others of the greatness of God.

an impoverished part of the world this Christmas season. Depending on the total offering, we will purchase the following: Piglet ($92), Goat ($75), Education for a girl ($83), Back to school kits ($46), and/or a rickshaw ($265). A place for everything... ... and everything in it's place. As the renovation of our facility winds up, we will be having a three evening work bee (December 2nd-4th) to re-stock the kitchen with our plates and bowls, etc... in addition to putting the collected bits and pieces that have found a home in our sanctuary back where they belong in our storage areas. Art will have to be re-hung, chairs will have to be re-placed, and we'll need to bid a sad farewell to the big blue oil drum as it returns to the deep recesses of our building. Many hands make light work, as they say, and everybody's help will be appreciated. Feel free to sign up at the back table this morning. Are you handy with a hammer? To make the best use of our storage space, we will be constructing some new shelves. If you would like to help, please see Pastor Matt today. A new addition to the family! On Thursday morning, just after 10:00, John and Nicolette welcomed their healthy baby girl into the world following a successful delivery. Mum and bub and family are all doing well, and will certainly appreciate your prayers in these early days.
