The history of English English is a well-known language in our world.

English is use as a medium to communication between countries in industrial, economy and education. Do you know the history of English is started since 450AD until today? English became the domain in English is a beautiful language, but in its history, have a lot of changes and suffering happened in British since English Language is started to been developed. The stages of English can be divided into for which is Old English (450~1100AD), Middle English (1100~1500AD), Early Modern English (1500~1800) and Late Modern English (1800~today). In each stage of English Language, it has big changes to overcome the changes in our world. English language is developed by Britain into Old English form the invading Germanic tribes language in 450AD. Old English is made up by basic words such as water, and it doesnt sounds and looks like English today. Nowadays English speaker would have a great difficulty to understanding the Old English. The Old English is been spoken until around 1100 AD. In year 1066AD, William the conqueror, The Duke Normandy who is a part of Modern France, has invaded and conquered England. The new conquerors which are called Normans brought with them a kind of French, which became the language of Royal Court, and the ruling and business classes. Linguistic class division has been having at there for a period, where the lower classes spoke English and the upper classes spoke French. 14th century, English became domain in British again, but many of French words added. This language is been called Middle English. The great poet Chaucer (c1340~1400) is using this language in his poets, but it still be difficult for native speakers to understand. A sudden and distinct change in pronunciation with known as The Great Vowel Shift started with vowels being pounced shorter and shorter at the end of Middle English. Form the 16th century; British had contact with many people around the world. Thus, The Renaissance of classical learning meant that many new words and phrase entered the language in print. Printing also bought standardization to English. Grammar and spelling is fixed, and the dialect of London, where most publishing houses were became the standard. Fixing of the English and the printing skill made books become cheaper and made more people learned to read. The Great Poet of Early Modern English, Shakespeare (1564~1616AD) have written many of poet in the Early Modern English. In year 1604, first English dictionary which name Table Alphabetical is published and in 1702, the first daily newspaper the Daily Courant is published in London. In year 1776, American Declaration of Independence is written by Thomas Jefferson, which means Early Modern English is used in it. The main difference between Early and late Modern English is vocabulary. Late Modern English contain many new words, arising from two principle factors: First the Industrial Revolution and Technology created new words for a need; secondly, the British Empire as its height covered one quarter of Erath Surface, and the English language adopted foreign worse form many countries. From around 1600, the English colonization of North America in the creation of a distinct American variety of English. Some English pronunciations and words froze when they reached America.
