Detailed Scope of work:

Description of the Area under the Firm scope of work:

All the Line and feeder bays of 11KV, 33KV, 132KV and 220KV System from H.L. Isolator/ Wave trap to all inside the switch yard; Generator bays from 15KV link to switch yard, UATs from 15KV Link to 3.15KV Circuit Breakers, Res. Transformer bays from Switch yard to 3.15KV Circuit Breaker, Colony Transformers bay from 3.15KV Circuit Breakers to 11KV H.L. Isolators, all Control panel, Trf. Cooler Panel, RTCC, Annunciation Panel, Disel Generator Sets and its all accessories.. All the equipments, buses, Hard wares of all Voltage levels; 250V DC Supply system, 415V Aux. Supplies to switch yard and related areas. The works for different items are described below. The works schedule is indicative but not exhaustive. The successful bidder will be liable to take up all mentioned and of similar nature of Job for maintenance and to keep the System healthy and trouble free. Works, which may arise during the actual execution of work but not described herein are deemed to be with in the scope of the bidder. The scope also include the supply of all consumables, T & P, Testing equipments, Ladder, Discharge Rod, Welding Machines, Gas Cutter with Gas & Electrode, Crane, Vehicle etc. Description of Work: Sl. No: Firm Scope Bay Maintenance: Each bay consists of breaker, isolator ( Max. 4 Nos. consisting 3 poles), CTs, (max. 6 nos.), wave trap (max. 2 nos.); lighting arrester (Max. 6nos.), coupling capacitor. Work: (a) Cleaning, tightness checking of all contacts, connectors, hardware of breaker, Isolator, CTs, Wave Trap, Lightning arrester, coupling capacitors etc. lying in the portion under shutdown of the bay, replacement of all defective connectors/hardwires and replacement of DD Jumper etc. (b) Iso.: Cleaning of Power Contact and adjustment of tie rod/ control mechanism for smooth operation of the isolator which is dead from both side , Cleaning inside the Aux. Contact of all Iso & adjustment if required to keep the indication, remote operation healthy; cleaning inside the VAJC(220KV) relay control kiosk, TB etc and any other trouble reported during issuing of PWC. (c) Bkr: Cleaning in all respect along with insulator, inside the control kiosk, cleaning of Aux. Contact, replacement of any types of spares if trouble observed during & after maintenance, attending of troubles reported during issuing of PWC etc. (d) CTs.: Attending of oil leakage by tightening, using M.Seal /Putty, cleaning in all respect along with Insulator, Cleaning of gauge Glass, filling of oil if applicable, cleaning of CT JB by Electrical contact cleaners, blower etc. (e) Lightning arrester: Cleaning of Petticoat; cleaning & tightness checking of the interconnecting bolts in between two stacks, in between bottom portion & counter, in between counter to earth connection, checking of healthiness of counter, replacement of old/damaged counter by new one, fitting of new counter if required, placement of the existing/ new counter to the place from where reading can be taken safely. (f) Maintenance/ Fittings of Hinge of Isolator; Bkr; control kiosk, CTJB, VAJC Control Kiosks. The above scopes are the indicative only but not exhaustive . All the works are also to be completed by the contractors as per direction of EIC or his authorized representative. (g) Carrying out of all tests of Equipments like CT/PT/Circuit Breakers/LA/Coupling Capacitors, Earth resistance of Riser of Earthing Leads etc. once in a year during preventive maintenance and as and when required basis. If the tests of all equipments is not done once in a year, penalty will be imposed as per deduction clauses.

Transformer Maintenance: (a) Cleaning in all respect from top to bottom, in side the MT Box, Bushing, oil gauge of the same; Meters, Indicators etc; Inspection of oil level of M. Conservator, OLTC Conservator, Bushing and filling of oil if required (No extra payment will be made to mobilize the oil from Main oil Tank to the site), Replacement/ reactivation of Silica Gel if deteriorated. Scheduled replacement of Silica Gel once in a year after Rainy season. (b) Cleaning, tightness checking of all connectors, hardware of the both side bushing of complete outdoor transformer; Cleaning, tightness checking of all Lug/connectors of HT & LT Side of GT, RT, UAT, Colony Trf., Gnd. Trf. etc. in both outside & inside power house; replacement of all defective connectors/hardwares and replacement of DD Jumper etc. if required. (c) Opening & cleaning, of main and OLTC Buchholtz /OSR junction boxes, Oil & Wdg. Temp. indicating boxes, MT Boxes etc. Tightness checking of all control, protection, indication, annunciation terminals in side the above area. (d) Opening of oil and Wdg. Temperature thermometer pocket, cleaning the probe & pocket, taking out of old oil, introducing of new oil, putting the probe into service; maintenance / replacement of the capillary tube etc. (e) Checking of annunciation for Low Cons. oil Level, Low OLTC cons. level by shorting the contact at indicator point or at TB at MT Box; High oil & Wdg. Temp annunciation by operating the indicator Nob or shorted from TB lying in side the indicating Box or MT Box; M. Buchholtz & OLTC Buchholtz annunciation by draining oil from the relay or shorting from JB or from TB lying on MT Box, OSR by operating relay or by shorting terminals lying on the TB inside the MT Box; Aux. Supply fail, low oil flow, Pump / Fan failure etc by shorting terminals lying on TB. (f) Checking of Protection by draining of oil from M. Buchholtz, OLTC Buchholtz, by operating of OSR, by operating of Oil & Wdg. Temperature indicator or by shorting the contact from TB lying inside the MT Box. During the checking the Lock out relays where it is available is to be kept healthy otherwise the breaker of the both side is to be kept closed in isolated conditions. (g) Carrying out of all tests of Equipments like IR/PI/DD/Tan delta etc of the Transformer; Earth resistance of Riser of Earthing Leads, associated Control, protection & power cables as required etc. once in a year during preventive maintenance and as and when required basis. If the tests of all equipments are not done once in a year, penalty will be imposed as per deduction clauses. Bus Maintenance: (a) Cleaning, tightness checking of all connectors, hardware etc. under shut down portion, replacement of defective connectors/hardware, changing of jumpers etc. Between HL Bus to LL Bus of 132KV System. (b) Cleaning tightness checking of all T connectors at swing Bus and pipe Bus of each bay, changing of drop down jumpers, fitting of repairing sleeve wherever it is required, checking of hardwares and replacement, at the same time bus side isolator of each bay will have to be attended in 220KV System(c) Cleaning, tightness checking of all connectors, hardwires etc. under shut down portion, replacement of defective connectors/hardwires, attending of Tee connectors etc. between HL Bus to LL Bus, attending of all Bus side isolators in 33KV System.

Isolator Maintenance: Cleaning of Contact & Aux. Contact, Greasing in the control mechanism, Changing of Gear/ Bearing etc, Alignment/adjustment of tie rods , Changing of male/ Female or moving/ fixed arm, changing of connectors/ hardware and attending all the incidental troubles to ensure smooth operation of the Isolators, Changing/ maintenance of covers of control kiosk, Changing/ attending of all indication lamps and adjustment/ changing of Aux. Contact & necessary Ckt. Checking to ensure all the lamp are glowing, attending trouble to put remote operation in service which were available from previous (Unit consists of 3 poles). Changing/Overhauling of Isolator Gear: Gear of ITE Isolator, Gear of all 220KV Isolators & other will come under this scope of work. Opening / Dismantling of the Gear, Changing of spares as required, Greasing and retro-fitting and putting into service successfully. Overcoming of all incidental trouble. Adjustment of operating Tie Link to ensure smooth operation of the isolators to the best level of satisfaction of EIC. Cost will include the cost of required spares also. Bkr. Maintenance: (a) All the Breakers and CT of any Bay will come under the scope of work. Cleaning in all respect from petticoat to control kiosk, cleaning of aux. contact, all TBs by contact cleaners, changing of any type of spares as required at the time of work to keep the breaker healthy, attending of Oil / Gas Leakage by tightening or by using M.Seal/Putty/ Silastic as per demand, maintenance/ changing of oil/Gas pipes, Changing/ maintenance of covers of control kiosk, Adjustment/ Changing of Aux. Contact & necessary Ckt. Checking to ensure all the lamp are glowing, attending of annunciation Ckt & panel in all respect, (b)145KV SF6 Bkr: Filling of SF6 & Oil as required, Checking of setting of all pressure switches & setting right as per design, checking of all annunciation by draining oil pressure to Oil Gen. Lock out and rising pressure to N2 gen. Lock out, Checking of safety valve operation and its Setting, Ensuring Cap. Tripping and Manual Tripping, Tripping due low oil & Gas pressure tripping, attending all incidental Trouble etc. (c) 33KV/132KV/245KV Oil Circuit Breaker: Cleaning the control mechanism and greasing, Drain out of old oil, Cleaning of contacts, Flashing with new oil for at least two times in each interrupter, filling up of new oil & Nitrogen; changing of gaskets, o ring, safety valve and any other spare if required; retrofitting of pressure gauge, attending of all incidental trouble to put the breaker into service. (Unit consists of 3 poles and each pole consists of 2/3 interrupters.) (d) 245KV SF6 Breaker: Lubricating the control mechanism, Changing of Lub. Oil to compressor, Checking of all annunciations by dropping the Air Pressure and by shorting the contact of Gas pressure etc, attending of air leakage if any. (e) 33KV SF6/ VCB: Cleaning of control Gear, aux. Contact, TB; Petticoat, Greasing/Lubracating in the control mechanism, Filling of Gas, Changing of one/more
spares, Checking of pressure switch setting & resetting if required, maintenance of Gas pipes, attending all the troubles to put the Breaker into service, Changing/ maintenance of covers of control kiosk, Adjustment/ Changing /Cleaning of Aux. Contact & necessary Ckt. Checking to ensure all the lamp are glowing, attending of control mechanism, attending of annunciation Ckt & panel in all respect.(unit consists of 3 poles).

(f) After attending all as above, Tripping through relay test must be conducted. Also, Time Test, Measurement of contact resistance, Tan delta test etc to be conducted as per direction of EIC (g) Carrying out of time tests, contact resistances of Circuit Breakers, Earth resistance of Riser of Earthing Leads, IR/PI of associated Control, protection & power cables as required etc. once in a year during preventive maintenance and as and when required basis. etc. once in a year during preventive maintenance and as and when required basis. If the tests of all equipments is not done once in a year, penalty will be imposed as per deduction clauses.

CT Maintenance: Cleaning in all respect from top bottom, Cleaning & Tightening
of Secondary terminal,, Cleaning of gauge glass, Measuring of IR of primary, Changing of connectors/hardware, maintenance of CTJB and it covers, attending all the incidental troubles to put the CT into service, Attending of oil leakage, Filling of oil if required & possible. For 220KV System, All the VAJC Relays along with its control Ckt; box, spares are to be attended as per direction of EIC. (g) Carrying out of all tests like CT/PT/Circuit Breakers/LA/Coupling Capacitors, Earth resistance of Riser of Earthing Leads etc. once in a year during preventive maintenance and as and when required basis. If the tests of all equipments is not done once in a year, penalty will be imposed as per deduction clauses. Attending of Control Trouble of the Breaker: All types of trouble related to closing and tripping developed in the mechanism or in control and protection circuit will come under this scope of work. The indicative works are the checking of control Ckt and rectification of fault, changing of any types of faulty spares and attending any types of incidental trouble to bring back the breaker into service.

Optional Scope Erection of CT: Disconnection from TB, Dismantling of old/ damaged CT and
dragging it to disposal area, Dragging the New CT from store or from other area of yard to the site, IR measurement, modification of the basement if required to fit the New CT to old Structure, Erection, connection of all connectors/pipe bus, cable lay out from JB to CT, cable termination and necessary assistance to CTC during commissioning test, maintenance/ changing of CTJB if required and attending all the troubles to put the CT into service. Erection of Breaker Pole: (a) 145KV SF6 Breaker: Evacuation of breaker, Drain out oil, Dismantling of damaged pole & dragging to disposal, Changing of gaskets, seals, O- Ring, Dragging of New poles from store or from other area of yards, Erection of new pole and necessary assistance to CTC during commissioning test, attending all incidental trouble to put the breaker into service, Time Testing. (b)132/220KV MOCB: Dismantling of Breaker pole, Dragging to a suitable place, Dragging of new pole to the site, retro-fitting of new pole, changing of oil, changing of gaskets, O Ring, capacitor, resistance, retro-fitting of gauge, filling of oil & filtration, filling of nitrogen, checking of operational time and attending of all incidental trouble to the breaker into service. (c) 33KV Breakers: Dismantling of Breaker pole, Dragging to a suitable place, Dragging of new pole to the site, retro-fitting of new pole, adjustment of control tie if required after erection. Erection of Lightning Arrester: Dismantling of Jumpers from LA, dragging to Disposal area. Dragging of New LA from store or other area of Sw.yd to the site, necessary modification of basement to fit the new in place of Old structure, Measurement of IR, Erection, fitting of counter, reconnection of jumper. Revival of Indication: Checking of the relevant Ckt; set right the aux. contact or any other contact, attending the TB and rectification of trouble etc. complete in all respect until indication established. Laying out of Cable and Termination: Disconnection of old / damaged cables from terminal & removal of old / damaged cables & dragging to disposal area, Collection of new cable from store or other area of the plant, measurement of IR, Excavation of trench if required ,laying out of the cable, re-filling of trench by soil & sand, brick. Sand brick etc will be supplied by DVC. For the Termination experienced Cable Jointer to be arranged by the Contractor.

Replacement of Bolted Connectors: for this work experienced & skilled persons and required jointing machines along with relevant Die-Set, winching machine, come-alone Clamp and other all required T & P shall have to be arranged by the contractor. Only a Telescopic Ladder, relevant connectors, Conductor will be supplied by DVC. Revival of remote operation of Isolator: Necessary Circuit Checking, ensuring Interlock with Breaker & other isolator, changing of all control/ power conductor as required, Changing of all damaged spares, opening of Motor, attending the same & brake, putting into service overcoming other all incidental trouble. All Necessary spares like coil starter, micro switch; control wires etc will have to be arranged by the contractor. Cleaning of Cable Trench: The deposited Ash/Debris/Mud will have to be removed from the Trench after opening the Trench cover. The work to be completed with such a caution that no cable gets damaged during the work. If so, the contractor will be liable to disconnect the same, lay out and terminate the new cable at his own cost. During the work if any cover/slab becomes damaged/not usable, the contractor will arrange to replace the same as per items of work 12b (i) & (ii). During the work the cables which are lying below the rack are to be lifted /placed on the rack after proper cleaning. The joints of the trench with other trench must be cleared as if water can flow through the trench freely. The measurement will be done as per Cum of Ash/Debris/Mud etc. Collected/ recovered from the Trench during the work. Replacement of Junction Box: The indicative works are to dismantle the cable from TB, dismantling of old JB, fittings of New JB; Re-connection of the terminal to new TB and rectification of all incidental trouble to put the equipment in service. Junction Boxes will be supplied by DVC. The following are the details scope of work over the firm scope of work which are indicative but not exhaustive. All the non-described works, previously un-seen, unwanted happenings in the System 415V AC to 220KV System and in 250V DC System will come in this items of work. It is contractors liabilities to rectify all the troubles of the above system with out any extra payments. Rectification by tightening, cleaning, replacing connector/Hard wares etc of (a) the troubles found by Thermo-Graphic Survey. Rectification of any types of troubles developed in control, protection, Indication Circuits of any types Equipments like Circuit Breakers, (b) Transformers, in any where of the AC and DC supply inside the plant along with necessary checking, testing, replacing spares/ hardware etc, Rectification of any types of troubles in the control mechanism of Circuit Breakers, MCB, MCCB in all voltage level by replacing any types of spares/ by (c) modifying spares/any other parts of the equipments. Renovation of any parts of any types of equipments, assistance to modification/ modification of required spares during maintenance and/ or for (d) future purpose in work shop or in any where in the plant or in out side of the plant. Fitting in new/ retrofitting of any types of spares/ Hardware/ New Equipments to renovate/ modify of any equipment of the system to its (e) control/protection/mechanism/ Indication etc.. to run the equipment/ System in healthy Condition. Replacement of Connectors/ Hardware / Jumper/ male & Female contact PG (f) Clamps to any equipment/bays in any where in the system, in any times beyond preventive maintenance. (g) (h)
Attending of colony Transformer by Changing of fuse, connector or by cleaning or tightening connectors at any time of Normal, Sunday & Holy day etc beyond preventive Maintenance. Attending of connector from & to Wave Trap for 132 & 220KV Lines.

Specified/ Unspecified Testing of cables/ Transformer/ CT/PT/LA like (l) equipment as & when required basis and as per direction of Engineer In Charge. Retrofitting of Surge counter as and when required basis. (m) Assistance to all types of 3/11KV & 11KV/415V Transformer Overhauling and (n) associated work. Cleaning outside of the MCC thoroughly, Cleaning Inside by opening the rare & front cover, Tightening the Bus Connectors, Tightening the Breaker/ MCC Terminals; Cleaning of relays, coils, starter & its contact by contact cleaners, Inspection of incoming & outgoing cables, testing if required; maintenance as required, replacement of cables/ connectors/ MCB/ Coils, starter, Over load relays. Cleaning of both rooms from top to bottom, cleaning of the DG set body thoroughly, cleaning of Battery terminals, replacement of Battery Terminal, Measurement of Sp. Gravity/ Voltage of each cell, providing water to cell as required, attending the troubles of Charger, Replacement of Charger, Inspection/ Checking of Control Circuit & rectification of troubles, Maintenance of Both 400V MCC as said in Sl. No:21, cleaning of coil, starter, overloads, IR Testing of all cables, Destination ends and rectification of all troubles thereof, replacement of any faulty/damaged spares, equipment etc.
