ENCRYPTED COLUMNS OPTION allows data to be natively and selectively encrypted and stored with ASE without requiring application modifications. ASE SECURITY & DIRECTORY SERVICES OPTION ensures data privacy through row-based access controls, the encryption of in-transit data, and support for LDAP, Active Directory and Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM) services.
