Corbett Castor 2014 In my opinion, Tom Corbett is fatally damaged and is a political dead man walking until Kathleen

Kane is sworn in as Attorney and we get the full story on Sandusky Slow Roll Grand Jury and the LeRoy Zimmerman looting of the Hershey Trust at which time, he will be politically dead. The Joan Orie Melvin trial is coming up where Senate Republicans used Bonusgate tactics to elect a Supreme Court Justice. It is conventional wisdom that Tom Corbett AG rejected evidence against now convicted Senator Jane Orie and his failure to follow the evidence of a Senate Bonusgate. Then what? The Republicans will need a candidate. Bruce Castor has, publically, indicated his interest. Can he win a primary and how viable is he as a general election candidate? In my view, the Republican candidate has to be present a clear choice to continued Pennsylvanias continued economic decline. The election will be, I hope, The Taxpayer Party v the Union Party with a focus not on cutting taxes but cutting unsustainable spending. The candidate will advocate economic growth as the only way to solve our states fundamental fiscal problems other than either huge tax hikes or crippling austerity. Raising the standard of living for all has to be the goal. Otherwise, winning an election, as we have learned, is not worth the prize.

1. The Republican Candidate must challenge the status quo GOP-Hacks by slashing appropriations [including hidden WAMS, many to liberal institutions] and gore some oxen.;

2.

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder led Right to Work Reform. Pennsylvania needs a Rick Snyder and Scott Walker; he must make "no squish" Rightto-Work the center of his campaign, it would be a clear statement that he intends to take Pennsylvania in a new direction toward greater prosperity and individual freedom. 3. He must link this initiative with pro-growth Marcellus Shale production as the key to Pennsylvanias Economic Revival, to real economic growth, to real family sustaining jobs; he must talk to those who are hammered by declining growth in jobs, even as government grows. The Republican record on Marcellus Shale is not stellar although the Democratic record is abysmally anti-growth. The Impact Fee was a tax on the cost of energy for residential and business consumers and the Shell Cracker Corporate Welfare subsidy to a billion dollar private corporation was stunning; 4. He must present a realistic plan for the very-necessary Government Pension Reform, going head-to-head with the Unionists on behalf of The Forgotten Taxpayer. 5. He must advocate for real School Choice reform [Vouchers for All], he would light up the principled grassroots; in addition, he could commit to appoint Simon Campbell or Heidi Adsett as Secretary of Education. We can hope courageous leadership can lead to a new day in Pennsylvania but, I have to admit, thats not what the smart money thinks. The Democrats are the winners and they think the Rendell Redux works well for them. I have to think they are right and Pennsylvania will have a Democratic Governor in 2012 leading to even more economic decline for the residents and voters of Pennsylvania.

Governor Tom Corbett Governor Corbett has the natural advantage of name-recognition and the power-ofincumbency. His recordboth as Governor and as Attorney Generalis weak.

1. Not only his unfinished-business (State Stores, School Choice, Pension Reform), he has been criticized for failure to persuade on these key issues, particularly when compared with those of his predecessor. 2. He is fatally-damaged, a dead-man walking becauseafter Kathleen Kane is sworn-in as Attorney Generalwe will get the full story on the Sandusky Slow-Roll Grand Jury. In addition, included in the 507 projects authorized by Act 130 of 2011 was $3,000,000 for Sanduskys Second Mile Foundation. [Act 130 was passed by the House on December 19, 2011 and signed by Corbett on December 21, 2012, more than six weeks after Jerry Sandusky had been arrested and the Grand Jury Presentment detailing his serial pedophilia had been released.]

3. The Attorney General has an active investigation of Establishment Insider LeRoy Zimmerman and Hershey Trust which Democrat Kane will inherit and, I expect, espose the looting of the iconic Hershey Trust for Disadvantaged Children by the Harrisburg Republican Establishment, all closely tied to Governor Corbett. When all the nowsuppressed information is made public, Governor Corbett and, even perhaps, the Republican Establishment will be more than embarrassed and the Establishment may even fall which would not be the worst thing that could happen to the Republican principled grassroots.

4. The trial of Republican Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin is imminent, triggered by the use of Bonusgate tactics by Senate Republican Leadership tactics to elect a Supreme Court Justice. It is conventional wisdom that Corbett rejected evidence against her sister, now convicted Senator Jane Orie;

5. As Attorney General, Tom Corbett failed to follow the evidence of a Senate Bonusgate;

Governor Corbett has failed to tackle what his own astute Budget Secretary Charles Zogby said were staggering pension costs [$41 billion] that more than doubled in the past two years; increased pension costs are projected to consume $500 million of 2012 budgetgrowth, with overall costs climbing from $1.1 billion in 2011 to $1.6 billion in 2012 to $2.2 billion in 2013 to $5.16 billion in 2019-20. The scandals and the policy failures lead me to conclude that the Governor will not get support of Republican grassroots base nor the general public in 2014 General Election. If the incumbent is vulnerable, then who will Primary him in 2014?

Bruce Castor Castor remains popular in MontCo, and is participating in bipartisan governance. He has the ability and skills to make the case as he has when he tried death penalty cases to death penalty verdict; he must articulate specific policies that appeal to common sense, and that would turn Pennsylvania toward prosperity. Bruce Castor has his own negatives, not the least of which are his own arrogant self-regard and shallowness on public policy. 1. He exerted autocratic, didactic and narcissistic control over the 2011 MontCo Commissioners campaign, implementing a myopic [Its all about Bruce] strategy that lost the MontCo Courthouse to the Ds. His arrogant self-regard prompted him to exhibit backward-looking, personal, divisive, intense, unrelenting animosity toward fellow GOP-Commissioner Jim Matthews, allegedly humiliating him publicly to incite his being indicted. Instead of articulating forward-looking ideas and specific policies, he uttered the lackluster and hackneyed no new taxes mantra, and the result has been dissolution of a viable MontCo Republican Party. [Close allies Frank Bartle and Brian Miles were not coalition-builders and unifiers and MontCo Republican County Chair Bob Kerns is, simply, incompetent.] If the Ds sweep the 2013 Judicial elections, as is likely, it is unclearaccording to a long-time and very-activist committeepersonthat Castor would receive the MontCo Republican re-election endorsement for Commissioner were he to decide to run again because of the 2011 loss and the chaos he has caused since then. Instead of leading with principle and conviction, he has exhibited self-interested narrowness. 2. He served as a character witness on behalf of the despicable Vince Fumo, and he. All of this was driven by petty vindictiveness against those who challenged his egotistical sense of entitlement.

Team Kates 390 is evidence that Bruce is not a popular in Montgomery County as some

would think. Bruce Castor is not as popular in Montgomery County as conventional wisdom thinks. Kate Harper 390. Hubris of Icarus Crashed Him to Earth Because He Did Not Listen. Daedalus is the hero of Greek legend who, with his son Icarus, escaped King Minoss prison on the island of Crete by fashioning a pair of wings out of wax and feathers. Icarus, thrilled by his newfound freedom, refused to heed his fathers warnings and flied too close to the sun, which melted his wax wings as he fell to his death. The myth of Daedalus and Icarus functions as a cautionary tale against hubris and emphasizes the importance of heeding parental warnings.

To whatever degree leopards may not change their spots regarding his past conflicts with the GOP hierarchy, people are not animals and people of faith perceive redemption, renewal and rebirththemes of the Hebrew Bible retold at Christmas/Easteras a reality.

He could attract significant funding and then capture the GOP-nod if he stops tripping over his arrogant self-regard and supplants his vendettas with a renewed and reborn character.
