Analyze the results of this survey and prepare a report that will inform future FCDC programming, services, and resources. In consultation with the Manager, FCDC, coordinate the development of a FCDC website. Research exemplary teaching and learning centre websites. Write web content. Liaise with IT on technical issues, and web developer to determine site structure / architecture. Work with CIADE program assistant to upload content. Ensure project is completed in a timely manner. Prepare and organize the Tutortrac online booking software system for the Writing & Learning Centre. Research other institutions using Tutortrac regarding their implementation and utilization of Tutortrac. Consult with the Manager(s) and fort desk staff regarding booking policies, procedures, data collection needs and other relevant program information. Liaise with IT Services to implement the booking system and to

resolve any technical issues. Test and pilot the online booking system. Establish best practices for day-to-day use and management of Tutortrac by the WLC and prepare documentation to support WLC staff in the day-to-day use of the software. Create a context for discussions about teaching and learning for faculty, staff, and teaching assistants. Compile and create resource materials that address teaching and learning topics. Design and implement a community of practice or luncheon series (arrange the dates, location, hospitality, and promotion). Assist the Manager, FCDC with the supervision of a work-study project focused on teaching conversations at OCAD University.

Arranged assistive technologies such as Kurzweil, ZoomText, and Dragon for students to complete exams. Supervised students to and from the exam room and study carrels. Completed detailed EAF forms regarding student concerns, absenteeism, technical difficulties, and questions for the professor. Acted as Senior Proctor supervising all proctors on campus. Addressed proctor questions and concerns, and scheduled break times for each proctor. Resolved any technical or behavioral issues between proctors and students. Assisted colleagues in creating a learning needs and resource assessment survey of teaching assistants (TAs) to prepare resources and services responsive to UWindsor TAs. Presented the network and our findings regarding TA development at various teaching and learning conferences. Collaborated to design and implement networks for TAs, both virtual (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and a blog) and face-to-face (workshops, events, and The GATA Academy).

RESEARCH ASSISTANT, THE HUMANITIES RESEARCH GROUP, THE UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR (2010-2012) Conducted bibliographic research and data collection. Completed Italian-to-English translations and edits. Assisted Dr. Antonio Rossini, Director of The Humanities Research Group, on special projects. INSTRUCTOR, FIRST-YEAR COMPOSITION, THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT, THE UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR (2008-2010) Defined learning outcomes for the course and prepared appropriate assignments to assess student performance. Provided one-on-one guidance and assistance during scheduled and drop-in office hours. Responded to student complaints, questions, and concerns regarding grades, class assignments, and course goals in-person and via email. Learners were non-English majors, and many were second-language learners. Mediated and resolved issues between students working in groups. Prepared and delivered lesson plans and lectures for 20 students each semester. Mentored students to practice daily writing through the use of a daily writing journal. Recipient of the GATA Award for Educational Practice 2011. CONFERENCE ASSISTANT, OFFICE OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRS, THE UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR (SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2010) Designed the conference brochure for the Canadian Association of American Studies (CAAS) hosted at The University of Windsor.
