Innovation Spaces Student Engagement, Fall 2012

Teachers involved in the Innovation Spaces project reveal how the technology including iPads and Netbooks impacts student engagement on a scale 1 (Least Engaged) to 5 (Very Engaged). No response refers to survey participants who did not include a grade level with their responses. In 3rd through 5th grades, all teachers ranked student engagement at a high level for each question. In K-2, a few teachers responded with a 2 or 3 under student participation and asking for help when needed. Overall, teachers noted a increase in student engagement at all levels.
