Process Studentbuzz.com 1. Idea Generation

Brainstorming - thinking about it

In starting the idea came into my mind that we all students have to work hard to find different resources of study from different unknown websites. Sometimes we get the enough which we need but for that we have to invest much more time on computers. So idea is about to make student life easier by launching a student website Studentbuzz.com.

Creating a new product based on some observed need.

My observation is based on the education trend to this modern trend. Today due the technology of computer, laptops & internet network had made the life easier one for society & for the current generation. Students are one of the largest market segments on internet. The idea comes to my mind that there thousands of websites on for educational purpose which includes study material, mock test , test preparation ,open lectures ,experiments, case study ,etc, but there is no websites which covers all needed resources at one stop. So the new idea is to launch a student website which satisfies all rounds to the students of all faculties.

Thinking of a new product based on some accident or chance circumstance.

About 72% of Indian students know that how to use the internet and how to find the related resources. Mostly it happened the students become frustrated with other websites because not being getting the needed material on stop. Student loss marks in various assignments, projects, competitons etc due the time consuming websites in which data are not easily available.

What are the weaknesses of existing products that are similar. In website market there are various sites which help students faster & free services of resources. Following are the websites are as follows. Youtube.com Testfunda.com Pagalguy.com Mbaonline.com Myengineer.com Camaterial.com etc.. There is weakness due to popularity of these student websites.

Is there any competition for a new product? No, there is no other market players in students website sector who make available all type of resources at one stop. Student buzz.com is such a website which includes facilities of videos , assignments, projects, university syllabus & with their notes, experiments, expert advices, chat room, test preparation etc. So it seems that we are first to start such kind of services at one stop.Studentbuzz.com.

5. Development of Product The Web Site Design and Development Process

There are numerous steps in the web site design and development process. From gathering initial information, to the creation of your web site, and finally to maintenance to keep your web site up to date and current. The exact process will vary slightly from designer to designer, but the basics are generally the same. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Information Gathering Planning Design Development Testing and Delivery Maintenance

Then development can begin

The developmental stage is the point where the web site itself is created. At this time, your web designer will take all of the individual graphic elements from the prototype and use them to create the actual, functional site. This is typically done by first developing the home page, followed by a shell for the interior pages. The shell serves as a template for the content pages of your site, as it contains the main navigational structure for the web site. Once the shell has been created, your designer will take your content and distribute it throughout the site, in the appropriate areas. Elements such as interactive contact forms, flash animations or ecommerce shopping carts are implemented and made functional during this phase, as well.

This entire time, your designer should continue to make your in-progress web site available to you for viewing, so that you can suggest any additional changes or corrections you would like to have done. On the technical front, a successful web site requires an understanding of frontend web development. This involves writing valid XHTML / CSS code that complies to current web standards, maximizing functionality, as well as accessibility for as large an audience as possible.

6. Testing
At this point, your web designer will attend to the final details and test your web site. They will test things such as the complete functionality of forms or other scripts, as well last testing for last minute compatibility issues (viewing differences between different web browsers), ensuring that your web site is optimized to be viewed properly in the most recent browser versions. A good web designer is one who is well versed in current standards for web site design and development. The basic technologies currently used are XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). As part of testing, your designer should check to be sure that all of the code written for your web site validates. Valid code means that your site meets the current web development standards this is helpful when checking for issues such as cross-browser compatibility as mentioned above. Once you give your web designer final approval, it is time to deliver the site. An FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program is used to upload the web site files to your server. Most web designers offer domain name registration and web hosting services as well. Once these accounts have been setup, and your web site uploaded to the server, the site should be put through one last run-through. This is just precautionary, to confirm that all files have been uploaded correctly, and that the site continues to be fully functional. This marks the official launch of your site Studentbuzz.com, as it is now viewable to the public..
