Begins Jan 9th
Community Meal Gather for a light meal and fellowship in Yeats Hall from 6:00-6:30 pm. Then disperse to various activities for growth. Beautiful Outlaw A Dangerous Book About a Scandalous Savior. He was accused of nearly everything But those who knew him best loved him passionately. And this Jesus has not changed one bit; he is still himself, available to all who would know him. Pastor Ed Lantz will facilitate this 17 week study. Books are $15. ESLEnglish as a Second Language for beginning to advanced learners. Classes focus on new vocabulary, reading, writing and conversation. Sandy Neal leads. Estate Planning 101 -basic information regarding wills, living wills, financial power of attorney, medical power of attorney, and guardianships. Class will have an opportunity to prepare their personal estate planning documents. (Jan. 9th-Feb. 6th) Ron Cawthon leads class. Bible Study in Spanish Lay minister Roger Barrantes leads a verse by verse Bible study. Wednesday Work Crew Garry Wolford leads light work to repair and maintain our facilities. Children Jamie Nelson leads a study of Bible characters using Nest Family Entertainment DVD series. Choir/Praise Band Rehearsal Keum Hwang invites all those who desire to praise God through music to gather, fellowship and sing! Mission Opportunities Ray Truesdell leads others in activities benefitting local and global missions. Pathway to Discipleship: New Believers Pastor Cheryl Jones leads a 7-week class for new believers, examining various biblical topics. Fee: $5 (covers cost of materials) Life Youve Always WantedMarcia Foil leads this study which is a road map toward true transformation that starts not with the individual but with the object of the journey---Jesus Christ. Refuge Youth Kyle Welsh leads our Jr. and Sr. High school students as they learn to better serve the living God through small groups, games, Bible studies, missions, service projects and worship. Womens Bible Study 10-wk Beth Moore study (Believing God)- experiencing a fresh explosion of faith; focuses on issues from a womans point of view.
