It tells us the causes, treatment and symptoms. This article shows that dementia is a disease that affects your memory and your decision making ability. It is most common over the age of 80's. Dementia is caused by alcoholism, brain injury, smoking and drug abuse. The symptoms of dementia are a progressive loss of memory for example miss-place of objects and ability to learn new things. It can be treated by cognitive enhancing agents, tranquilizer and antidepressants. To prevent dementia stroke is the only potential effective treatment. To carry someone with the dementia you must know the safeties for instance do not allow someone with dementia to drive vehicle and make the environment as safe as possible

This article is very well explained by authors and they have

put their effort to tell Risk factors, Primary Prevention and secondary prevention. After explaining it risk and prevention then author well explained about its treatment. He shows detailed picture of treatment and various steps and medicines involving in it. Moreover the author also told us about several important issues need to be addressed to improve clinical trials of MD. At last he told us that further studies are needed to improve our ability to diagnose and treat MD.

Many different forms of dementia are well explained and differentiated in this article by newspaper. This article also includes some statistics about patients of dementia in Canada along with estimates about future patients. There are 14 different forms of dementia well explained in this newspaper article. He also stated that all forms of memory loss are not dementia. This article is really helpful with explanation of different forms of dementia but can be more detailed.

As in hospitals elders are hooked up to machines of low benefit and prescribed drugs that worsen their cognitive function. And result stated that patients with isolated memory loss have increased risk of development of dementia. This article is research proving some important points about dementia. 6. a. This article states about Alzheimer's disease which is a form of dementia in older people. According to this article, a study shows that people who have head injuries has increased risk of dementia. Using available criteria, this disease can be accurately diagnosed in 86% to 92% of cases. In this article it is also discussed about how other health problems and medications affects this disease. In Canada there is only Donepezil is approved to enhance cognitive functions. 7. This article is brief summary on how patients are burden on the caregivers. It shows result on how dementia affects a persons life, family and caregivers. It also explained about strategies to help those people to connect with family activities. It states about dressing in people who have dementia. How dress can cause stress in them. It also shows how they can participate in domestic activities. It says that we need to careful about stressing things around the people who have dementia.
