Four is perfect, replied Mrs. Rivera. I know how much you love them, so we will make extra. Anthony began peeling the plantains. When he was done, Mrs. Rivera cut them into thin slices. Then, she washed her hands; they were very sticky. Next, Anthonys mother fried the plantains until they were golden brown. She put them on paper towels to cool. Where is the garlic butter, Mom? Anthony asked. It is over there, on the counter, she replied. Anthony put the garlic butter on the plantains. Finally, there was only one thing left to doeat them!
