Esteemed colleague,
Please accept this letter of application for the Mathematics Faculty position.
currently hold a teaching assignment as an Adjunct nstructor of Mathematics at Central Texas
College serving the United States Navy enlisted personnel aboard numerous vessels throughout the
Pacific. This assignment has given me the unique opportunity to teach to and learn from a culturally and
economically diverse student population. Prior to serving these students, consider necessary to
identify their social as well as their academic challenges so that can proceed to develop a flexible
teaching plan that tends to particular learning needs through required tutorials beyond regular lecturing.
am able to implement this plan without compromising the high academic standards and expectations
consider necessary for succeeding in current, as well as future mathematics classes and academics in
general. As a faculty member at Pamlico Community College, in addition to my teaching duties, am
required to provide academic advice to students in the Arts and Sciences department. This added
assignment presents yet another great opportunity to interact with students individually outside the
classroom and gain valuable insights into their academic persuasion, career goals, and interests in
more detail.
My success in the teaching of Mathematics at the college derives its strength from foundations gained
as a mathematics educator at the middle and secondary school level. utilize the familiarity of early
academic challenges these students experience as input towards redirecting current academic
difficulties college students might have strengthening their learning skills to meet future needs as they
continue to further their education. Additionally, students benefit from my brief, yet rich experience
obtained by working at various financial and public institutions that use to complement theory in the
classroom.
further complement my functions of educator by advocating for students with limited resources in their
search for available forms of financing their future studies.
am certain that the proven strength of my work ethics, skills, career goals, and the continuous desire
to learn equip me adequately for a superior delivery of instruction in any modern and academically
demanding mathematics classroom. am equally confident will constitute an asset to your prestigious
institution and student population it serves.
Best regards,
