Device normalisation
1.

Put a piece of cotton into wider side of the sensors head so that the cotton wool touched the metal electrode but not very close because with every new measurement the cotton wool will get drier and salt concentration will increase and therefore, time needed for it to get wet in the physical solution will increase too and normalisation will not occur

2.

Moisten the sensors head properly and press it with wider end (where the cotton wool is) to the wet bandage attached by the crocodile in the patients left hand, then press the sensors button quickly. Wait till the process of normalisation is over. Instructions on Su-Jouk measurement Preparations for the diagnostics

1. Cut the bandage into pieces;

13

14 2.

Take a piece of the bandage, moisten it in the physical solution and cleanse the

forefinger and the third finger on both hands from the outside and within;
3.

Put this piece of the bandage on the left thumb or wrist and press with the passive electrode - crocodile. After that normalise the device;

14

15 4.

After the process of normalisation is accomplished, measure the patients points by the sensors thinner.

Measuring process 1. Apply the sensors thinner end to the point corresponding to the point shown on the screen and press the sensors button quickly; 2. The process of the points measurement is shown in the indicator in the form of wide red lines oscillation. 3. It is necessary to strengthen the pressure briefly with the sensors thinner end, making spreading movements on the skin along the meridian until the wide red line of the

15

16

indicator on the screen deviates to the maximum right. After that it is necessary to fix the sensors thinner end in this position. The process of sensors moving lasts about 3 seconds point search mode. 4. The process of points measuring starts.

7.2. Measurement results analysis

On finishing measurement, the expert system (ES) starts automatically. 7.2.1. Automated Expert system of diagnostics results assessment It works on the basis of expert assessments formalised analysis received from doctors and psychologists and loaded in the software. In order to make automatically discovered diagnoses and psycho-emotional states more precise there are: 1. Computer Patient dialogue mode that enables to increase or reduce the probability rate of an expert result depending on the patients answers. 2. The prolonged expert characteristics mode enables to increase the expert result probability rate on the basis of analysis of additional measurements with the selected method and Vertebrology. Note: [Automated ES of diagnostics results assessment] is persistently amplified with new expert data received from the ROFES diagnostics Society specialists . This society is organised on the basis of Chair of Physiotherapy and Reflexotherapy at The Ural State Medical Academy and as a result of specialists mutual efforts from the Chair of Polyclinic therapy and family medicine at the Academy. Working with the mode Automated Expert system of diagnostics results assessment

Fig.8 The bookmark Measurement expert-analysis

In order to start this mode, click [Expert system] key When the [Expert system] window opens (Fig.9), automated measurement analysis is started. Moving green indicator at the bottom shows that the expert system is operating. When the Expert system meets any expert result in the course of the rofogram analysis, Computer-Patient dialogue mode starts, and a questionnaire addressed to the patient appears on the screen. Answer the questions by double clicking the answers. When you refuse to answer the question, press the [Skip question] key. If you wish to terminate the interview, press the [Complete] key. When the work of the Expert system is finished, new window appears with the bookmarks [Statements with additional information interpretation] and [Summary]. (Fig.9) Description of working with the bookmark [Summary]

17

18

In this bookmark, there are windows with expert systems conclusions without detailed description.

Fig 9 The bookmark Summary in the [Expert system]

In the window [Conclusion] there are diagnoses and psycho-emotional states symptoms presented in Sections. On the right, there is a colour scale and characteristics where the probability rates are displayed: green minimum deviation minimal rate of a symptoms probability, from 0 to 15% (0-0,15) (intensity rate) yellow minimum deviation minimum rate of a symptoms probability, from 16 to 30 (0,16-0,30) (intensity rate) blue probability from 31 to 50% (0,31-0,5) shows functional changes of organs and systems and increased probability of a symptom (intensity rate) rose probability from 50 to 75 % (0,5-0,75) shows changes of organs in systems and organs and high probability of a symptom (intensity rate)

18

19

red

probability from 76 to 100% (0,76-1) shows the highest rate of probability

(intensity rate) of a symptom and changes in organs and systems. In every section of the Expert systems conclusions, the symptoms of diagnoses and states are listed as follows: on top of a section are the dominant symptoms with the highest probabilities displayed, below the symptoms with low probabilities (intensity rates) are shown. The prolonged expert characteristics mode enables to increase the expert result probability rate on the basis of analysis of additional measurements with the selected method and Vertebrology. Initial measurement without the Computer-Patient mode provides a max scale for a calculation of functional changes from the norm in organs and systems = 0.65 (65%). Any repeated measurement carried out during the same day increases the scale on 0.10 (10%). If there is a deviation trend in the patients meridian system, the increase in functional deviation rates from the norm happens, or, alignment closer to the norm in case of situation changes of the meridian system characteristics at the moment of measuring. Additional measurement with the Vertebrology method adds percents to the rate of functional deviation. The report formed on the Expert systems results can be changed in the database if you start the Expert system again during the same consultation (on the same day).
Note: Expert Systems message: Expert systems conclusions may be incorrect (0,99) This message appears if during the diagnostics the patient answered the expert systems questions the following: Yes, I have just had a meal Yes, now I am in anxious, restless state. If the system comes across such answers, it is obvious that meridional system will increase the work of those bodys meridians which are responsible for digesting and reassuring and that is why the program takes into account these states and informs YOU that the interpretation may be incorrect. Read the passport, point Preparing the patient for diagnostics.

7.2.3. SPECTRUM ANALYSIS of meridional system assessing results Everything in the world is in constant motion and, like a stone thrown into water, creates circles of diverging waves which contain information about the reason that caused them. Wave in its turn is the total of energy particles created by radiation source and it can

22

23

be recorded depending on the potential of recipient. Radiation waves move in space and carrying huge energy and information flows. Everything on Earth and in the outer space exists in the energoinformational space. Living organisms energetic waves of certain frequency and amplitude contain the information about source, i.e. they are the total of organs and systems radiation. It can be observed with the help of computer tomography or thermal imager, or other means of living organisms radiation record where the information obtained either by direct receiving radiation from living source or by receiving reflected waves from certain organs is shown. In any way, we translate the information contained in energetic waves radiated by a body into the method of visual control which is peculiar to our nonverbal perception of the environment. Nowadays electromagnetic waves (oscillations) are the most known and researched. Any kind of life possesses its own electromagnetic oscillations spectrum, i.e. every micro- and macroorganism has its own specific frequency spectrum (oscillation spectrum). Every structural unity of a body corresponds to a certain frequency spectrum and this feature is successfully used in therapy (Gotovsky Y.V. with co-authors, 1999). Development of the pathological processes leads to changes in this frequency spectrum in the form of pathological (disharmonic) oscillations emergence. Wave characteristics of the whole spectrum of radiation which penetrates through the space contain a lot of information about its sources. We perceive this information in the form of signals recorded by our communication organs tuned to rather narrow radiation spectrum. The human bodys meridional system which runs through all physiological systems including the central nervous system and therefore determines its functioning, has connection with the skin and thus contacts directly with the environment obtaining and generating wave information. It can be assumed that radiation spectrums wave characteristics which are beyond the limits of perception by conventional communication systems, such as organs of sense, are perceived by meridional structure. This is so called subthreshold perception of environments energoinformational characteristics which differs from bodys coverlets receptors subthreshold perception by wider wave spectrum. Thus, the information which has positive or negative meaning for communicative system of perception is received not only by the organs of sense but also by meridional system and thus by physiological systems controlled by it. In this connection, the radiation

23

24

which are in resonance with the bodys internal frequencies cause positive feelings and those which are in dissonance cause negative feelings. Physical organs, which receive information through meridians, can be compared with magnetic tape on which the information is recorded. So the more body receives negative information, the stronger the function of this or that organ will be damaged. The most weak parts will be damaged first. The approach described about the emergence of psychosomatic abnormalities can be compared with the theory of G. Selye - the syndrome of biological stress (G. Selye Stress without distress) by which he proved that the influence of various external factors, which are not always bad for health, cause a stereotyped set (syndrome) of synchronous changes in organs. All organs involved in the investigated chain are among vitally important ones in the body. Such set (syndrome) is called general adaptation syndrome (GAS) or Biological stress syndrome. In physiological systems, which are constantly depressed because of discordant perception of the environments energoinformational flows through the bodys meridional structure, structural changes take place leading to functional and then organic changes. These changes in organs cause the radiation of negative wave information about their negative state into space through meridians (energetic channels) and determine emotional state of a person and, in the end, his behavior. Thus, we can observe not only the connection between abnormalities of physiological processes in organs, but also the mechanism of functional and organic changes emergence as a result of persons minds negative oscillations. Judging by the above mentioned information there is a necessity to bring a living biological system (such as the human being) to normal functioning state. The body as a united system can be brought to normal state only by autonomous repairs of different subsystems and organs. It must be an interactive process of all bodys organs and subsystems functions co-ordination in the process of treatment and thus, of regulator relations reconstruction subject to co-operation of all bodys subsystems. This process is supported by the improvements of humans psychoemotional sphere. Therapy by electromagnetic oscillations with which the human body, different organs and systems and also micro- and macroorganisms contained come in resonance is called exogenous bioresonance therapy (BRT). The main point of resonances usage is that if the right frequency of medical treatment is chosen, it is possible even with a small amplitude of external signals to increase normal (physiological) and to reduce pathological
24

25

oscillations in a biological system considerably. Therefore it is supposed that adequate resonance influence brings tissues and organs to the state which corresponds to the embryonic stage of its ontogenesis and changes the characteristics of the illnesses acquired if they havent influenced hereditary structures. Special attention to the problem of various frequencys electric and electromagnetic impulses effect has been paid recently because it is supposed that the character of information transmission in biological systems is not amplitude, but frequency-dependent (Adey window). For instance, the human body is capable of not only reacting in a wide frequency band of influence (10-3 109 Herz and higher), but also of responding certain frequencies with certain reactions. Besides, the amplitude of affecting electric signal can be trifling low (i.e. to be lower than the threshold of sensitivity) and of magnetic field 10100 times lower than the Earths magnetic field. Therefore the influence of impulses with the amplitude of dozens and hundreds of volts which are produced by many devices based on Folls method is not physiological and may damage the human body (Gotovsky Y.V. with co-authors, 1999). Such selective influence on the biological system that doesnt require much energy to be released and suggests bio-objects own energy sources activation under the influence of certain frequency is called resonance effect and is a kind of exogenous BRT. However, different kinds of influence on biologically active points are sometimes had without considering the distant integral bodys reactions and states, patients biorhythmological features and environmental temporary structure at the moment of diagnostics or treatment. In S.L. Zaguskins (2002) opinion, resonance activation frequencies of ferment, cellular, organ and body reactions are unstable and have temporary, reversible nature; they also dont allow to forecast and reproduce the responds needed. The reason of such living systems behavior is that even the characteristics of ferments and other macromolecules in the test-tube and in the living cell are fundamentally different in time organization. Living systems on any level show homeostasis features, preventing from divergence of their separate subsystems and elements axes, i.e. as integrated systems they escape resonance responds actively keeping internal stability (S.L. Zaguskin, 2002). The necessity of whole bodys functioning recovery on all levels is explained by the fact that the stabilization of one single homeostasis parameter that has deviation will becarried out at the expense of damaging others because the body, as integrated system, when

25

26

treated one-way inevitably finds new stable conditions (local extremums) that are far from the systems standards as a whole. Practical testing of theoretical theses above mentioned on cell and body level by means of certain gradual changes of multi-frequency influence with invariant frequencies ratio peculiar to given biosystems harmonic and stable state allowed to detect the phenomenon of multi-frequency parallel resonance capture peculiar only to living systems. The thresholds of such multi-frequency bio-controlled biorhythmological influence on separate nerve cell turned out to be lower than the thresholds of monofrequent resonance influence. Probably in bodys integrated and interrelated system such influences can be effective when the intensity is lower than under optimum mon-ofrequent influences (S.L. Zaguskin, 2002). According to the above mentioned information the utility of multi-frequency resonances usage in biological systems becomes clear. These systems explain their high interference immunity along with simultaneous exclusive cell and bodys sensitivity to biologically important and ecologically habitual multi-frequency code signals, so called basal multi-frequency signals. Obtained with the help of the ROFES set, the spectral portrait of the bodys meridional system contains all the components of basal multi-frequency signals and also the result of the individual reaction of a living biological system to environmental impact at the very moment of measuring. That is why the analysis of the multi-frequency spectrum obtained and operative multi-frequency respond to abnormalities revealed in the frequency characteristics, representing the bodys homeostatic reactions subject to dissonant components, allows a living biological systems functions to be restored on a real-time basis. The meridional system itself will control multi-frequency response correction, and the reaction of this system will be recorded under biological feedback conditions in the present situation. Obtaining a normal functional state by controlled biological points according to the result of initial diagnostics (i.e., the state of semiconductor) will characterize the normalization process of organs and systems for which the meridional system of the human body is responsible. Thus, the operative record keeping of patients individual biorhythmological characteristics and dosed correction by means of individual frequencies spectrum selection allows to stabilize patients functional state operatively.

26

27

Meridional systems spectral analysis is based on the spectrum analysis of frequency characteristics BAP measured as a result of current provocation. The analysis is conducted with the use of mathematical methods, i.e. measured BAPs signal (oscillation) expansion in Furye series and further formalized analysis of characteristics obtained.

Fig. 13.1

In the picture the frequency spectrum of lungs meridians BAP is shown ( Fig. 13.1). Every column (oscillation) in the diagram represents a certain frequency which is a part of points oscillation signal generating as a result of assessing current provocation (assessed points signal oscillation can be seen in the process of assessment on the indicator which shows this process). Along the axis of abscissae (horizontal axis) there are frequencys rates (in this case low frequencies from 0.2 up to 14 hertz) represented. Along the vertical axis the rates of these freqiencies energetic manifestation (columns height) are represented. For normal functioning living object of system the reaction on current provocation, i.e., normal adaptation to current, must look on the spectral diagram as gradual decrease in columns (oscillations) from the beginning of the diagram up to its end (from 0 up to 14 on the axis of abscissae), i.e., fading process. This decrease looks like a kind of exponential curve if all the peaks are joined. Every next column is lower than the previous one from left to right on a certain rate, i.e., negative increase (- - Delta).

Fig. 13.2

27

28

Frequency spectrums change is peculiar to the oscillating signal of the point that characterises different abnormalities in organs for which this meridian is responsible to. In the diagram there can appear some peaks, i.e., the rule of columns gradual decrease (exponential rule) will be broken. Any oscillation that characterizes energetic manifestation of a certain frequency will have the rate higher than the previous oscillation, i.e., positive increase (+ - Delta). In the picture, we can see a clear tendency of exponential rules breaking in the beginning of the diagram (Fig. 13.2). You can view the frequency spectrum in the menu [Expert-analysis of assessment] by clicking any key that refers to a certain meridian around rofogram (Fig. 13.3). Left diagram with the blue column represents meridians energetic filling according to the result

of the assessing made. In this diagram, the meridians reaction when interacting with biological feedback will be shown. To the right from the frequencies spectrums diagramthe picture of the point is shown, that was diagnosed and through which the interaction with biological feedback will be conducted.

28

29

The ROFES software conducting mathematical analysis of frequency spectrum combines all positive increases (+ - Delta) into the table that can be viewed from submenu [Spectrum diagnostic analysis] (Fig. 14). In the column Delta, all positive increases are shown. In the column Frequencies, all frequencies that have such increases are gathered. In the right part of the table, there is the description of specific frequencies chosen according to nosology, symptomocomplexes and syndromes.

Mechanisms of therapeutic action in the process of BAP electrostimulation

(information is taken from the bare source Electrostimulational reflexotherapy by Yakupov R.A.) Electric stimulation is used in reflexotherapy mainly because it has the opportunity to effect the informational regulation processes in the body, because current may be regarded as physiologically adequate stimulus for nervous structures. Neurophysiological and neurohumoral mechanisms of electrostimulational analgesia are studied in details. Analgesia is based on the process of pain control endogenous mechanisms activation (Kalyuzhny L.V., 1984; Limansky Y.P., 1986; Melzak R., Wall P.D., 1965; Fields H.L., Levine J.D., 1984; Bowsher D., 1988). It is supposed that anesthesia comes as a result of the activation of the primary nociceptive afferents presynaptic inhibition at the level of posterior horn and also activation of the central relay nociceptive neurons postsynaptic inhibition. This activation appears under the influence of neurohumoral factors including enkephalin and endorphin opioid systems, brainstems serotonergic and adrenergic mechanisms (Melzak R., VetereP., Finch L., 1983; OBrien W.J., Rulan F.M., Sanborn C. et al., 1984; Casale R., et al., 1985; Pascal A., 1988). Electrostimulational reflexotherapy allows to affect on one hand endogenous opiathergic antinociceptive system, and, on the other hand, specific afferent system (portal control). To obtain optimal result in the first case, low frequency intensive stimuli are needed that excite high-threshold fibers of nonmyelinated afferents and central neurons of opiathergic system. In the second case low intensity high-frequency stimuli because A-alpha and A-beta fibers have low excitability threshold and high functional lability (Kalyuzhny L.V., 1984; Limansky Y.P., 1986; Melzak R., Wall P.D., 1965; Fields H.L., Levine J.D., 1984; Hoffert M., 1986; Yaksh T.L., 1987; Bowsher D., 1988)

43

44

Peculiarities of analgesic effect when using high-frequency (80-150 Hz) and lowfrequency (5-10 Hz) stimulation modes have been detected. When the stimulation is highfrequency, analgesic effect comes quickly in 5-10 minutes after the beginning of treatment, but it is not stable and regresses almost entirely in 30-60 minutes after the stimulation is finished. When the stimulation is low-frequency, anesthesia appears slowly in 45-60 minutes after the beginning of treatment, but it is stable and often remains during 3-5 hours (Yakupov R.A., 1991; Melzak R., Vetere P., Finch L., 1983; Lehmaan Th.K., et al., 1986). Indications for application Galvanopuncture and galvanoacupuncture are prescribed according to indications for other methods of reflexotherapy. The best effect is achieved when pain syndromes of various genesis are treated. Galvanopuncture are a method of noninvasive treatment is especially useful for children treatment. Contra-indications for application 1. New growths regardless of localisation and origin 2. Malignant blood diseases 3. Cardiovascular pathology 4. Diseases of organs and systems at the stage of decompensation 5. Pregnancy 6. Children under 10 7. People over 60 ATTENTION!!! As a result of stimulation overdose, corporeal galvanoacupuncture and auricular analgesia is often accompanied by side effects, such as blood pressure oscillations, dizziness, nausea etc. That is why its usage is strictly forbidden for people with cardiovascular and vegetovascular pathology and for elderly aged people.

8. MODE REMEDIES SELECTION The mode is started from the bookmark Measurement expert-analysis (fig.8) in the [Assessments] sub-bookmark by pressing the Remedies selection key (fig. 22). The diagram on top of the window reflects meridians electrochemical conductivity (resistance) in the form of conventional numbers from 0 to 100. For the blue diagram BAPs reaction to negative current, for the red one BAPs reactions to positive current.
44

45

Specifying diagnostics results according to additional BAP measurements (with the help of Remedies selection mode) In the right part of the diagram, there is a table with 5 empty columns. To specify diagnostics conclusions according to the tests results you can carry out additional measurements of those meridians (corresponding to BAP) that you think are necessary to reexamine. Click the first empty column of the table. Then carry out the necessary measuring to specify certain meridian or BAP. Analysis algorithm of the results achieved is similar to ROFES-diagnostics method: the blue diagram is physiology, i.e. BAPs reaction to negative current, red diagram is energy, i.e. BAPs reaction to positive current. The analysis is carried out relative to normal corridor for blue and red diagram correspondingly (dashed lines). Points recommended for additional measurement: TR20s; TR20d hypothalamus. It is the centre of vegetative regulation. It controls the thermal processes in the body, wakefulness and sleep, water and fat exchange, genital function, hidrosis etc. Conductivity changes at this point can be the result of evident cerebrosclerosis, sleeping drugs over-use of after meningitis, encephalitis, head nidus of infection. If there is a head nidus of infection, the change often has one-sided character at the side of the nidus (teeth, sinus, tonsils, ears). TR20 topology is situated on the scull, right above the ear where you can palpate a pit. The algorithm of remedies selection: According to the diagnostics result, select the meridian, connected etiologically with an organ or a system, for which it is necessary to test a remedy (click the selected meridian in the table); put the remedy into an aluminum cup (in a pack or in an ampule) apply the diagnostic sensor to the tested point of the meridian and press the sensors button; on completing the measurement the messages are displayed: Test of the remedy at the point is completed successfully, i.e. if the rate of electrochemical conductivity (resistance) changed and approach the individual norm for the patient (dashed lines), then the remedy in this dose have a positive influence on the organ or system. If you get this positive reaction on the remedy and know its

45

46

influence you can determine the illness more precisely and you will know how to treat it (Lupichev N.L. Galvanopuncture diagnostics, homoeopathy and distant influence phenomenon,
Moscow, 1990)

Test of the remedy at the point failed means that the tested remedys characteristics do not correspond to the energy portrait of the patient. If the rate of electrochemical conductivity (resistance) changed from the level lower than norm individual corridor (dashed lines) to the level higher than norm individual corridor (dashed lines), then the remedy is suitable but the treatment will be with exacerbation or side effects.

The principle of testing the remedy with the help of nosodes: When testing a patient with the help of nosodes the resonance phenomenon is used i.e. when nosode frequency (information about disease) coincides or approaches to patients diseases electromagnetic radiation frequency.

Fig. 22 [Remedies selection] window

46

47

Particular features of remedies selection: It is better to start selection and test of the remedies from the key point, calculated by the program according to the diagnostics results (see the rule of the calculation in the [treatment scheme] bookmark, Treatment algorithm 1, help key [?] near Physiotherapy according to algorithm 1 key); Allopathic remedies qualitatively with points (not less than 5) maximum enabled for the analysis. The frequency of taking the remedy depends on the recommendations on the package; The remedies selection results can be incorrect if the test for one BAP is repeated more than 3-5 times (the point is getting tired because of long lasting stimulation with a diagnostic current). In the manual instructions for work with the Vega-Test galvanopuncture diagnostics equipment, it is recommended to recharge the tested BAP with 13 Hz frequency in order to select next remedies correctly. In the ROFES software you can find 13 Hz treatment frequency in the [Treatment scheme on BAPs] called from the mode galvanopuncture therapy mode. It is necessary to test any poly remedy on special-purpose meridians or meridians responsible for bodys immune status; After the change of the tested remedy, before the beginning of the new remedy test, it is necessary to close the sensor and passive electrode together and press the sensors button. Wait until the process of measurement, i.e. erasure of the information about the previous remedy, is completed. Bioresonance characteristics transfer It is started from the [Treatment scheme on BAPs] window called from the mode tree, galvanopuncture therapy mode. In the window [Treatment scheme on BAPs] find Bioresonance characteristics transfer in the upper left table and click it. 1. Put the remedy from which you are going to transfer bioresonance characteristics into the aluminium cup; tree,

47

2. Put the glass bottle with the homoeopathic groats on the cylindrical magnet (electromagnetic zonal sensor);

3. Press Treatment button and wait till the process is completed; 4. In order to check bioresonance characteristics transfer start the Remedies selection mode.

NB! If after a long work with ROFES set your computer do not normalise ROFES measuring block before the process of diagnostics, the reason can be the following: 1. Silver-plated electrode inside the sensor's head is covered with salt. It is necessary to take cotton wool out of the sensors head, unscrew the head, clean the metal tip with sandpaper, nail-file. 2. Poor contact between the metal plug and outlet in the passive electrode - clip (crocodile) applied to the patients hand. The plug could be influenced by physical solution and become rusty or the metal petals of the plug have poor contact with clips outlet. Clean the metal plug from the rust or unbend the metal petals on it for better contact with the clip (crocodile).
3.

Physiological solution got inside the sensor, corrosion changed the characteristics of the inner wire connected with the sensors head. Send the sensor to Altaim Ural research and production enterprise for repair.

4. 4. Physical solution could get into passive electrode where the wires are connected. This led to corrosion and increased electric resistance. Send the passive sensor to Altaim Ural research and production enterprise for repair. Or you can clean or resolder the wire, having cut the part which has been exposed to corrosion.
