There is no god
but Allah
Muhammad (peace be upon him)
is the messenger of Allah

I testify that there is no god
except Allah.
He is one. He has no partner
And I also testify that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is indeed his servant and Messenger.

and his angels

and the last day

General Dua
Oh our Lord grant us
Good in the world
And good in the hereafter
And save us from the torment of the fire

Before we eat we say

In the name of Allah and on the given blessings of Allah
After we finish our food we say

All praise is for Allah who has fed us Given us drink (satisfied our thirst)

And made us amongst the Muslims.
When we go to bed we say

Oh Allah in your name I live and die
When we wake up we say
All praise is for Allah who revived us to life after
giving us death and to him we shall have to return

When we go to the toilet we say
Oh Allah I seek refuge in you from the foul male and female devils
When we come out of the toilet we say
Oh Allah I ask your pardon.

Praise be to Allah who relieves me from suffering and give me good health

I depart in Allahs name relying on him
It is Allah who saves us from sins with his guidance
As we get in to a car or bus or train we say
In the name of Allah Most Kind most Merciful

When our car is moving we say
Glory be to Allah, who has subjugated this means of travel for us
Though we were unable to subdue it.

Behold we are assuredly to return unto our lord.

Surah Al Lahab
May both the hands of Abu Lahab be destroyed and they are destroyed!
His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned.

And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head.
A rope made from palm fibre around her neck!

About Tanzeel Tanzeel was established by concerned parents who were looking for an afterschool class specialising in delivering high quality Tajweed and Hifdh blended with Islamic studies addressing issues facing the younger generation living in the West while at the same time focusing in nurturing the Islamic characteristics and morals within the students. About this book This book is to inform teachers and parents on what supplications, chapters of the Quran and Kalimas to teach in Level 1 at Tanzeel. At this stage students will be learning their alphabets and not be able to read this book. In class, the teacher will read out to the students and the students will repeat after the teacher. In this manner they will memorise the whole book. The teacher will listen to them and correct their pronunciations and have a system of revision to ensure students retain in memory everything they have memorised. At home parents will be guided by the teachers and be able to assist their children with revision. Dua CD 1 when available will also be of assistance and accompany the book.
