Reported department performance and data analytics to LAUSD Board of Education. Managed and evaluated performance of staff including ~60 Assignment Technicians and 3 HR Analysts. Contributed to labor negotiations. Played instrumental role in resolving HR issues with new enterprise-wide computer system by revamping teacher pay and status components.

Led team of 12-15 direct reports to deploy 6,000 substitute teachers to 900 schools daily. Interviewed, hired, and terminated substitutes. Participated in labor negotiations. Strengthened school safety throughout district by introducing and initiating picture identification system for all substitute teachers. Within one school year, all 6,000 substitute teachers had photo IDs.
Accelerated delivery of service, while upgrading quality of teaching staff by consolidating customer service component of Substitute Unit and Placement & Assignments Unit.
