Describing, listing Respect Coloured cards, Handout (Worksheet 1, 2 & 3) Students have been taught on . Teaching Strategy -Teacher asks several students to come to the front and do some actions according to teachers instruction. -For examples:
smile-ing, laugh-ing, listening to music, read-ing, etc.

Language Content -So class, you must look at your friends very carefully and try to guess what they are doing? Note: Teacher lets the students to guess but they need to follow the Class Rule 1 which is hands up if they want to answer the question. Any answer would not be entertained if they do not follow the rule.

Lesson Plan - 2011 English Language Presentation (14 minutes) - Teacher explains to the students about so and because. -Teacher shows.. to make them understand more. -Teacher illustrates how because and so are used in a sentence by providing the students with various examples. Focused Practice (10 minutes) -Teacher gives the students Worksheet 1 to do in order to check their understanding. (They begin the activity individually under the teachers close observation and guidance). -Students can ask the teacher if they have doubt. Teacher will explain again whenever necessary. -Teacher discusses the answer together. (From here, as the students work individually, teacher can identify the students weaknesses easily.) -Teacher wraps up the lesson. Note: Teacher encourages the students to use because and so in order to make their composition -You are given 7 minutes to complete the exercises individually and after that we will check the answer together. -Note: Teacher also provides Worksheet 2. It is for the advanced students who have finished the Worksheet 1 earlier. -As usual, you can ask me personally; I will walk around so feel free to stop me anytime.
