Knudson Churchill Scholarship Competition December 17, 2012, to March 15, 2013: Description

WHAT? The Knudson Churchill Scholarship is designed to promote and support education in the fields of print journalism or automotive technology. Endowed by the New England MG T Register (www.nemgtr.org), the program will present the best applicant with a monetary award to an, accredited, postsecondary school of winners choice in order to study in one of these two areas. The award may be used for any educational expense in one of these fields. Application available (12/5/12) at http://www.nemgtr.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=65 &Itemid=184 The Knudson Churchill Scholarship Trust is interested in providing scholarships to highly motivated students to assist them in their future career endeavors in these fields. Further, the Scholarship honors the two founders of the New England MG T Register. This opportunity is available to any student who applies and: (a) Demonstrates an interest and potential to succeed in the field of print journalism or automotive technology; (b) Qualifies for admission as a student on the post-secondary level of education and elects to pursue post-secondary education in one of these two fields; (c) Demonstrates superior quality of previous scholastic or practical endeavors; (d) Is at least 17 years of age. Completed applications must be received by Friday, March 15, 2013. The Trust will notify winners in person, and announce them on the MG T Register web site in early June, 2013. Winners essays will be published in The Sacred Octagon and on the Web site in fall, 2013.

HOW MUCH? In 2013, there will be one KCST Scholar award of $1500 in each field. WHO ARE WE? The Knudson Churchill Scholarship Trust is a 501(c) (3) Foundation.

Privacy Policy: We do not collect any information on visitors to our KCST Web site. Submitted applications will be reviewed by the Academic Selection Committee (Chair, Prof. King, and 4 members). Finalists application information will be sent to KCST Trustees for approval with Committee recommendations of winners. With winners approval, the essays with brief biographies will be published in an issue of the bimonthly The Sacred Octagon of the NE MGT-Register. We do not sell or distribute application information to anyone outside the Selection Committee and our Trustees.

This Program will provide a monetary scholarship for a selected student who satisfies the following standards: (a) Shall have demonstrated an interest in the field of print journalism or automotive technology; (b) Qualifies for admission as a student on the post-secondary level of education and elects to pursue postsecondary education at an accredited school in one of these two fields; (c) Demonstrates superior quality of previous scholastic or practical endeavors; (d) Is at least 17 years of age.
