This measurement schedule has been developed to be used as a tool to facilitate QS staff in taking off quantities of excavation, concrete, reinforcement and formwork in foundation and RC structure
BENEFITS Easy to use Speed in taking off User friendly guides to assist Only by inserting dimensions (nos, length, width & height) quantites such as excavation, concrete work, blinding and formwork are automatically calculated Schedules given assist the user in taking off in a systematic manner
2. Nos. Off
- Key in numbers of each type of foundation (calculated from foundation layout plan)
3. Dimension
- L for length in Meter (Refer to detail drawing for each type of foundation - always take horizontal dimension as length) - W for width in Meter ( Ditto - always take vertical dimension as width) - H for height or thickness of the foundation in Meter (Refer to detail drawing for each type of foundations)
Maximum depth not exceeding 0.25m Maximum depth not exceeding 1.00m Maximum depth not exceeding 2.00m Maximum depth not exceeding 4.00m thereafter in 2.00m stages
3. Excavating pits having both plan dimensions (length & width) less than 1.25m (SMM2-D.12.6)
If any of this pits excvn falls under this category, its will be calculated automatically and separated from the others Formula for quantity: Length (L) x Width (W) x Total Depth - unit M3
4. Excavating pits
Formula for quantity: Length (L) x Width (W) x Total Depth - unit M3 Nos - need to be stated in description
6. Water Table - If there is, key in, in Meter. Check with the designer especially for areas where water table is high. - If none , key in ' 0 ' or leave it blank
5. Excavating trench
The foundation will consider as strip footing/foundation Formula refer to item 4
8. Concrete blinding
Formula: Length (L) x Width (W) x Blinding Thickness - unit M3

GROUND BEAM SCHEDULE (Non suspended Ground Floor Slab) User guides (to be read together with the schedule below) A. Dimensions to be keyed in - white columns
1.Location/ Grid line Refer to layout floor plan - horizontal & vertical grid 2. Dimensions L = Total length per grid line in Meter W = width of beam in Meter H = heigth of beam in Meter 3. Deductions CL = last column on left (refer to grid line - if the grid line starts from the center take half) CI = Intermediate columns along grid line CR = last column on rigth (refer to grid line - if the grid line starts from the center take half) Pits = length/width of pits/footings along grid line Slab = Thickness of slab along grid line 4.
