Chigendik
Location: Chigendik, Chagai District. Toposheet No. 34 C/8 and 34 C/12, (29o 08'N: 64o 30'E). The deposit is located at Kundi Baluchap, 26 kms to the northeast of Dalbandin, which is 363 kms from Quetta. Classification: Minor occurrence Commodities: Iron, gold Quality: Fe2 O3 67-82 Reserves: 5 million tonnes estimated by PIDC Remarks: Two types of mineralization is present Siderite-Calcite veins in basic volcanics of Cretaceous age. A 1 to 6 feet thick vein is intermittently exposed for about one km. The other type of mineralization in the form of disseminated grains of hematite-magnetite in garnet-epidote skarn rocks. A total of 29 holes have been drilled at Chigendik

Pachin Koh Iron

Location: Pachin Koh, Chagai district, Toposheet No. 30 K/12, (29o 11' 40"N; 62o 54' 50" E) Classification: Major occurrence C Commodities: Iron, and C Copper Quality: Fe2O3 varies from 20 to 67% Reserves: 45 million tonnes with 48.35% iron. Geological and geophysical investigations suggest that the indicated iron ore prospects at this locality are likely to be 100 million tonnes. Remarks: The magnetite hematite, mineralization occurs in the Cretaceous volcanic rocks. The ore bodies are in the form of volcanic flows centered around fumerolic area.

Chilghazi Iron Deposits

Location: Chilghazi, Chagai District. Toposheet No. 34 C/8 (29o 08' N; 64o 18' E). The deposit lies in Chilghazi River bed area, about 50 km to the north west of Dalbandin Classification: Major occurrence Commodities: Iron, copper, and gold. Quality: FeO 10 to 55 Reserves: 20 million tonnes in disseminations and 3.36 million tonnes in separate iron ore bodies. Remarks: The magnetite deposit of Chilghazi area are of volcanic origin which may have been deposited as late hydrothermal bodies which occur as layers, bands or wedges in three horizons. The first horizon iron bands are followed by the second and the third zones at 130 m and 500 meters depths, Iron ore occurs as massive to disseminated globles in Sinjrani volcanics.

Mashki Chah Iron Deposit

Location: Mashki Chah, Chagai District. Toposheet 30 K/8 (28o 02' N: 62o 24' 30"E). The deposit consists of several small exposures 4 to 5 km north west of Mashki Chah. Classification: Minor occurrence. j p Commodities: Hematite and jasper. Quality: Fe2 O3 40-56% Reserves: 1000 tonnes estimated. Production: No production is reported.

Bandagan Iron Deposit

Classification: Minor occurrence Commodities: Iron, copper, and gold Location: Bandgan, Chagai district, toposheet 34 H/1, H/1 (28o 51 N; 64o 03 E). The deposit lies along 51'N; 03'E) the northern margin of eastern Raskoh Range about 3 km west of Shehin Peak Quality: Fe 25 to 54%. Reserves: 7, 000 tons magnetite and 18, 000 tonnes hematite. Remarks: The skarn type deposits occur as vein type or in massive form in the Kuchakki volcanics of Cretaceous age. These measure 18 x 200 m and 15 x 30 m., the main minerals identified are magnetite and hematite, in association with hornblende garnet, biotite, epidote etc.
