6. Removethe hingebolts and removethe door assembly.

ADJUSTMENT Door Alignment

1. Determine which hingeshould be loosened to movethe door in the desireddirection. 2. Loosenthe hinge bolts just enoughto permit movementof the door with a paddedprybar(if necessary). 3. Move the door to the desiredposition and tightenthe hingebolts, as follows: a. 1990-92 Mirage and 1990-93 Galant: 12-19 ft. Ibs.($7-26 Nmg b. 1993-9 Mirage, 1 94-00 Galantand all Diamante:16 ft. Ibs. (22 Nm) c. 1997-00 Mirage: 20 ft. Ibs. (27 Nm) 4. Repeat procedureuntil the door is aligned the as desired.
