What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?

*Confidence: I will be selected in interview. Over confidence: I was selected in interview. *Confidence: It is a belief of someone that he can put his best towards the achievement of his goal. Overconfidence: It is a belief that he is the best towards the achievement of that goal. *Confidence is believing in yourself. But overconfidence is believing in what you are not. So confidence will helps to achieve your dreams but overconfidence will ruin your dreams. *Confidence means "I can do this", and over confidence means "I only can do this". With confidence a man can lead anything but with overconfidence he can't do anything. *In confidence we do more practice. And In over confidence we do less practice.

What is the difference between hard work and smart work?

*Sir, I think smart work comes after the hard work if you work hard then you will get experience and after getting experience you can do that work in a smart manner. So i think smart work is a part of hard work or we can say behind every smart work, hard work is there. *Hard work "includes unwanted or unrelated ideas". Smart work "focus on needed things related to the work". *Taking longer time and larger strength of oneself is hard work. And doing the same work in smaller time and less strength is smart work. *Hard work: working for a long time to finish a work. Smart work: working in time with logical thinking. *Hard work is like cutting tree from TOP to BOTTOM, and smart work is like cutting tree at BOTTOM only which lead to collapse whole tree. *Hard work :Knowing what to do. Smart Work :Knowing what not to do.

How do you feel about working nights and weekends?

*I complete my work within the time limit if the organisation demand to work at night or weekends I definitely do, because I help other in critical situation. *To be honest no one wants to work at late nights and on weekends. I will try to complete my work within the time limit. If the situation demands and in urgent conditions then I definitely do it for my company. Because health plays major role in our life and next day must work with energy and enthusiasm. *Well, If system needs my service in nights and weekends I have no problem to do for the beneficial of company I will be there. But I will be very sincere towards work so I will finish the given work in time. *If I have to complete my work in given time, then there will be no issue to works in the nights and weekends.

Can you work under pressure?

*Working under pressure will enhance our ability to do our work and manage time. In that situation we will be more focused to work and do whatever to complete the work. For ex. In cricket under pressure batsman performs well & gives his best to win the match. *A little bit of pressure is always good to keep us going and working hard. Besides, time management is required to handle pressure successfully. So work pressure on me today will help me perform better tomorrow. *I can do work under pressure. If I am interested to do that work. For example"Work is like a Tooth paste it doesn't get done without pressure". *Sir, life is not a road of flowers. So pressures are a part of life. For me working under pressure is a challenge to prove myself. I take it as an opportunity to succeed in career.

*In an organisation the relocation is common aspect. If you give me the opportunity to relocate my job then I am very happy to relocate some other place. What makes you angry?

*Usually i dont get angry. I'm a bit calm person.Yes sometimes i do get irritated but i dont usually express my anger and after a while i am normal..:) *I really get angry when some people who can't achieve their desire and put the entire blame on destiny and luck. As success is the only result of hard work and there is no alternative to hard work. *When someone interrupts me in the middle of my work, or when I can't finish my work on time I usually get angry. *I get angry when people telling lies at me which I have already know that is not true. I feel very bad when any one cheats me. *Every human on this earth gets angry but the thing is who stays calm, giving simple smile shows the humanity of a person. *I usually get angry when people argue with me without understanding what am I trying to say. Also I get angry when someone underestimates me. *When someone cheats me, n speak lie to me - Makes me angry.

Give me an example of your creativity.

*In my 10 std my brother throw the floppies outside and I just collected that all and stick by using fevistick around the sides of it and I make a pen stand a I gifted it to my brother in his b'day, This is my example of creativity. :-). *Creativity means doing things differently but in a right way. I think we all are creative, as we all have gone through alot towards our carrier and finally choose a specific field. All this comes under creativity.

How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

*As long as I'm growing technically and economically, I would like to be here and I want to become asset to our organization. *I expect to work till I and the company are satisfied in my work for the company. If company is satisfied and there is no bond and everything seems comfortable to me. I will work as long as my service needed by the company. *I always wanted to work in a reputed organisation like yours and gain lot of experience. I don't have time limit as such. *Yes I can and I cannot. I can when the company can get big and long term benefits and there is no chance to degrade the repute of the company. And I can't when there is a small or short term benefit for the company. *No I will Never lie. Lie cannot remain hidden for long time. It may be caught and indirectly affect the reputation of the company which in don't want. As honesty is the Best policy. *I would not like to lie for the company because I know If we are right then we need not to tell lie. *If it is good for the company and a useful one for the society, I am ready to lie but what about the branch of lies which come in relation with that lie.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?

*PHOENIX an imaginary bird is my inspiration. It looks magnificent and every time it gets burnt it rises from the ashes. So each and every one of us should be like the bird which rises boldly even after its fall. *My inspirations are my own mistakes and experiences of my day to day life. They help me to become more and more perfect day by day and to withstand difficulties in life. *My Parents and my dream has inspired me to get to fulfill those need and my passion to get the satisfaction in life. *I inspired by me only, my parents are farmers. By seeing them I want to be achieve many things. I Know which way is good and which way is bad I choose myself to be inspired person to others.

What was the toughest decision you ever had to make?

*Toughness is a relative term. Deciding college and branch to seek admission in an engineering college was the toughest decision I had ever made. *I have toughest decision in my life right now, I have got the best college in India for hotel management, and one heart says that drop this year and take aieee coaching, now I've set up my mind for 1st option, its really hard for me! *My toughest decision is obeying to marry the person who suggested by my father and uncle..uncle is the father of the person whom i loved with my whole heart...... *I took toughest decision of life while joining multimedia and designing field that too against the wishes of parents.

Have you considered starting your own business?

*I think its worth starting a business when you have all the resources, especially knowledge and experience. And as a fresher I don't have this option in my list. *Yes. I have an idea to start a business. But not now. I need to learn from this world then i have to choose specific path to start a business. i think it will talk more than 10 years. *Yes, I have thought about it. But its after my retirement. My plans is to invest a portion of my money and start a small business. After I cant be ideal. I love working and earning.

*Not exactly. because experience is required for starting a new business. once i get the experience i ll think abt my own business.. *I haven't thought about it. Before consider own business I have to gain adequete knowledge, skill, trick to sterring my business right way.. *First i have to join a company learn the working skills,conditions,pressure and requirements later on i can apply that for staring my own business.... *Being a fresher i dont have much idea about that right now. Now i just want to improve my skills and experience in my field of working, later i will think about that sir.

How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own definition?
*According to me success lies in happiness. If we are happy doing some work and others are happy with our work then we are successful person. *Your salary is your success factor. You can measure your success by looking at your fellow mates that how much they are earning. *Success means reach the target. If I will get the desired result, I think myself as that is success. *Success is a fruit which is on the top of a tree, we have to climb up to get the fruit by our hard work. *Success is when your boss is happy with you alot and you feel happy becouse of your hard work you can achieve your targets.

If you won $10 million lottery, would you still work?

*No I will not work as a same designation which is giving by this time of interview, I will open my new company which is relate to our company transaction then it will be beneficiary to our company and also me. *Surely! 10 million can't keep me busy and an active brain is always a healthy brain. Besides, I'll constantly need to be in touch with the outer world to deploy the sudden 10 million gain in effective channels! *Of course I will work, If even I won $10 million lottery. because I value to those earning which is hard earn and the money which I will get from the lottery I am definitely going to spend in a very short period of time. *Definitely I will work because work is nothing but satisfaction of our ability. And also money come from one way and goes from other way but my work is the lifetime lottery that I never want to miss.

How much salary do you expect?

*Salary of course, is the biggest factor that matters, but at this stage, I am a fresher so I just need a gateway to show my skills with my hard work and my knowledge. So, whatever be offered to me would be acceptable. But I know the offered salary will fulfill my all the requirements and will force me to put my best. *As a fresher salary is not my first priority, I only needed to improve my skill and learn new things. So whatever company offers is OK for me. *Sir, At present my aim is only to enter into the job. So I have n't think about the salary. But you know I have commitments with my family. So depending upon the market values give me the salary sir. *Being fresher, salary won't be my first priority the only thing would be gaining experience as well as learning new things for that what ever company offering I will be happy.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

*After 5 years also I don't want to stop learning process. I wish someone will be Senior than me and he will rectify my mistake and teach me. *Five year down the line I would like to see my self as an important part of organization. And there would be a great value addition in organization by me. Lastly I will be something who will have ability to take any fruitful decision. *After five years, I would like to see myself in a respectable position where the company will not loose me at any circumstances. ! *Future is the thing which reflect on present action, if we do best in present we acquire better position in future.

On a scale of one to ten, rate me as an interviewer.

*Sir, I am not in position to rate a interviewer because your experience and knowledge is much more higher than mine. then as it is a part of my Interview so, I would like to rate u 9/10, and I am deducting 1 mark because there is always a scope for improvement. *Sir, I never judge a person unless I have been through that situation. But still, since this is apart of my interview, I would give you a 10 on 10 because creating such comfortable environment for an interviewee who is very much under pressure is not an easy task. *Thank you for giving me this opportunity, but i would like to know on your scale of 1 to 10, 1 is considered best or 10 is considered best?

*Sir, don't think I am in position to rate you, I am just fresher and I am not more knowledgeable and experienced than you, still give an opportunity for me I will rate you 9/10. Because I believe that no one perfect, every one have some space for learn new things and ipmemenitng. *Sir, as I said earlier start of this interview that I am honest person so I will rate you 9/10. Why have you had so many jobs?

*I always want to learn more. *Because I want to develop myself more.. *Though I have changed lot of jobs but due to this I have learn different set of skills. And these skills help me a lot in dealing with different kinds of people. It may show negativity on my part but my skills and learning ability have increased.

Why have you been out of work so long?

*In order to make my carrier in Civil Services I had to take a break from there. I did not have appropriate time to prepare for the same. It took around one year for preparation. *Till now waiting for the good opportunities. but during the break, I kept on improving my skills and communication. Now I think I am more organised, better decision maker an emotionally stable to perform the job efficiently. *To bring more exposure and develop myself in all aspects like communication, empathy, etc., *My family was in a problem, as a par of the family i took the responsibility. Now every thing is alright. I am dynamic in my field so i can featch a job. I hope i have done a satisfied job.

Why did you resign from your previous job?

*I learned a lot out of my previous organisation and now with a very healthy discussion with the employer I put up before him my views of looking forward for more better exposure and looking to my capabilities he also supported to grow further in a bigger life.

*The company where I have worked was good. But it was not a big company the level of growth was very limited over there. That's why I am looking for a job where I can growth & give growth to company due to my performance and my best ability. *I am very thankful for my previous job. I got good technical skill from. I have one reason for resigning my job. No more salary increment.

Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized.

*Yes there was a movement when I was criticized for my work but I took it positively and improved on that therefore I got appreciation too. *It's an opportunity to correct our mistakes if someone criticise us. *Yes I was criticized by my seniors but critisised is only key to success and after that I willl never give a chance to critised me in future. *Success is impossible without criticism. But as a human, I cannot digest those criticism. Definitely I will reply to those criticism by my achievements. *As no human can be perfect in all the situations. It's quite common to commit mistakes. But the thing to be remembered is not to repeaat them again.

Could you have done better in your last job?

*I have done my best being commited and loyal to my old job and had complete job satisfaction so I assure neverthles for my current job or assignment. *I performed well in all my previous assignments to the best of my efforts, same has been well appreciated by my peers and managers. Ofcourse there is always a room for improvement, which I am working on it, to be even more better. *Yes, I have done everything which had resposible worked on me. *yes of course. i was better doing my job but i wanted to try out my potential in more advanced company.

Tell me about the most boring job you have ever had.
*A job without involvement leads to boring. I haven't encountered any such situation still now and I won't get anymore. *I thing no job is boring,it depends on us that how much eager we are to do the job because every job gives us an experience to do the growth. *Every Job have its own value. We make it boring or interesting based on individual perceptions. Well I enjoy my job, but at times I get bored of monotonous job. *According to me no job is boring. I am sure you will get a good hear about my work. *Ya you can, I'm sure u'll get to know more about me, because I have always given my best.

How many hours a week do you normally work?

*In the field where I am working, there is no such thing like limited hour work. Whenerver situation demands we always stand for work. *According to me I never give the importance to working hours why because it shows that the employee is not interest to work. I would like to give the importance to completion of the work with in time. *We can't calculate the time while we are working. If we calculate time it shows the interest lacking in the employee. It depends upon the work and needy time for that work. *Work is the most important for me and my company, so i'll do work with company's requirement. *Work is the first preference so I'm ready to work on the demand of work. *Depends on the workload i will do the time management and try to give maximum time for accomplish a work.

What was the toughest challenge you have ever faced?

*Every day has a new beginning and brings new challenges, so we can't be able to judge which challenge is the toughest. Cause tomorrow challenge might be tougher than today. Hence, face the challenges with positive attitude to crack it. *As I am a Tamil medium student coming from village its very challenging to me to be a good communicator in English. But now I improved so much. *Challenges are challenges. They cannot be categorized into tough tougher or toughest. So yes I have faced many challenges in my life. Which I have definitely overcome due to positive attitude. Proof is I am sitting here right in front of you :). *As a fresher i dint face any challenge in my professional life. but in personal life many challenges invited me but nothing was toughest as i accepted all those challenges in a positive way and i was successful in achieving. *Well I have face many challenge which were tough, but none seemed to be very challenging because I have keep my self boosted with energy and confident to face more challenges. *Being asked the question "What was the toughest challenge you have ever faced?" is the toughest challenge I have ever faced.

Have you been absent from work more than a few days in any previous position?
*Due to health problems / Functions / Family reasons that too in a critical positions. I kept leaves. After coming back to my company I cleared my work with accuracy. *Yes... I have taken 5 days of leave to go to my native place as I have proper reason and unavoidable situation to go there.... *Honestly speaking,i have taken few days of leave for some proper health reason. But i understand my responsibilities in the terms of my assigned work, So, i did my pending work by managing my time. *Yes, with proper reason. *Not yet because. I am a mature person and I understand my responsibilities and I am caring for my job.

What changes would you make if you came on board?

*In every type of company basic things are. Customers satisfaction. Employers satisfaction. Benefit to the company. If those criteria is satisfied and changing according to that than I will go for changing. *Once getting onboard, 1st I will study about the company and then if the things are not on the right track i will make it change and if the things are going well i will add some valueable inputs if required. *First of all i would like to say that i would not change anything but i would add something addtional to the ongoing work/plan/environment with my experience and skills. *I would instill a sense of having more space in my workplace so that juniors/subordinates can come up with more ideas without the fear of rejection or humiliation. *First, I prefer to study the entire situation and i'll take the necessary according to.

What would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, but you think it stinks?
*Sir, your idea is good and will surely be in the interests of the company but if your allow me I would like to give few suggestions from my side for your consideration. *If boss is open for ideas then i'l discuss my points with him so that he can re-think on certain points of his vision, if he's nt open to new ideas from subordinates, then i'll follow "boss is always right" rule. *Sir, all the ideas which you have given before are really superb and added value to our company but what I feel about this particular idea is that it may decrease the glory of your previous ideas. So I think we can once again think about this twice and then we can implement this sir. *Sir, Let us discuss and categorized all pron's and corn's and lets take views of other experienced guys and then it would be good to finalize and impliment.

How could you have improved your career progress?

*Always I would like to resolve my weak point with out any hesitation and cooperative with superior person team member. *I will try to polish my skills and use my experience, new challenges help me to utilize my learnings thus relating to my career progress. *We can improve our career if we have a dedication to learn new things and to face the new challenges.

Tell me honestly about the strong points and weak points of your boss (company, management team, etc.)
*As an employee still in that company, and I will be breaking the trust of the company if I speak out those confedintial information regarding my "BOSS". I am sorry that I can't disclose anything like that. *Every man has some strong and weak points but this is responsibility of each person to ignore that weak points, always admire every person and highlight their strong points. *As an employee its my duty to save secret information about my company, management, my BOSS. And every person has strong and weak points, so I can not point out like this is strong point and this is weak point *Sir once I get this job I will be one of the empoyee to this organization. So its my responsibility to save the information regarding our company, boss, employees etc. If I tell this information I am not an honesty person. So how can I answer this question. Sorry sir. *We are not there to judge our bosses rather the bosses are there to judge and guide us.

Looking back on your last position, have you done your best work?
*I have done my best work in my previous position. Even whatever I am today that is the result of my past hard work. I have improved myself a lot by doing hard work and that experience will inspire me to lot to do well in future. *Everyone knows that nobody is perfect as their is always a scope for improvement. Though I don't get any reward for my work done in my previous job but I am sure I was given my 100 % and my satisfaction is more valuable to me. *My awards and rewards are indicating that I did best in my last position.

Why should I hire you from the outside when I could promote someone from within?
*Sir, I think it is always good to have Fresh Fruits in your basket. If you hire people from outside it will definitely add some new skills and knowledge to your organization and the fresh fruit will help improve your organizational health. :-). *Sometimes it is in the favor of the company to recruit from outside so that new person will give some new ideas as well as his creativity. If somebody is worthy to get the same position I don't feel that you will have to search for new candidates to be sourced outside.

*Sir if I am here for interview then its clear that you required somebody for this job and definitely newcomer will have new ideas and can apply new ideas for the job. *Different people have different thoughts. A guy from outside will bring new ideas which he learn somewhere, which can improve your organisation. It may be way of giving a chance to a talented person to prove himself. *As i am a fresher i have no experience you can mold me in your way to accomplish the work.

How do you feel about reporting to a younger person?

*Age does not matter whether is young or old. What matters is the job which has to be executed well and on time. I don't mind reporting to him. I give respect to the position he is in. *Experience merits more respect. So age does not matter. If a younger person has more experience than me, I would not hesitate to take instructions from him /her. *Age is doesn't a matter in talent. I will give respect to his/her post. *Not at all Sir,Honestly to say it would be pleasure to work alongwith him,as i believe no one can steal anybody's abilitiy ,intelligence and fortune,unless we learn and try to adopt in ourselves from people arround us anywhere. *It is all about the ability and caliber. In my opinion, age doesn't make any difference to it. If a person has talent to lead, I won't mind reporting to him whether he is younger or older to me. *I feel as comfortable as I report to my elder one, because tallent is not directly propotional to age. *I feel comfortable. Because I won't give importance to the age, I give importance to his post or designation

Looking back, what would you do differently in your life?

*Past is full of engineering life. I crossed lots miles in education. This job is achievement of all the education I learn so far. I want to full fill my education work through doing this job. *Well sir, We improve present only through the mistakes learned from the past and the future will automatically fly high as we improving present. *We are not change our past but present and future is totally depend on our self that why if we are focus on our present then our future definitely good. In our life every moment teach us something new that's why not don't waste time on think past focus on present. *First of all, I will keep my emotions in the corner and will try to be as professional as I can. Secondly, there is no short-cut to success so I have to work in a way that not only I grow but my company also grows the same time.

Why are not you earning more money at this stage of your career?
*Sometime to get something bigger we need to accept something lesser because accepting nothing initially will may not give anything later. *According to me MONEY FOR MAN BUT NOT MAN FOR MONEY. If I satisfy with my work I will work at any salary but if there is not satisfaction in job I will never do that job even with lacks of salary.

*Making money is not a big deal we can do it by many ways but geting talented in work is more important for me. If we have Knowledge and experiance its like we are having all time money. First we should get knowledge and experience then money automatically follows. *Life is important than money but here money makes much simplier of life so every one looks for money even you and me also. *Well, we all know money is importanct but but one will not get golden opportunities of building career again and again and I believe that if career is on right track and on progress. Money can come automatically. If we just focus on our work we will get fruitful results. *Well sir, I am not a money minded person. Every one knows money is only means not an ends. I only believes first deserve than desire. *Money is imported but knowledge is most important at the initial stage of career.
