PLC BASED HOME AUTOMATION

ABSTRACT:

This project aims at atomizing any home appliances. The appliances to be controlled automatically and the functioning of the Appliances are controlled by the programmable Logic Controller (PLC). As the functioning of the Appliances is integrated with the working of PLC, the project proves to be accurate, reliable and more efficient than the existing controllers. This project concentrates upon the area of automation using Fatek PLC FBS14MAT. It is a combination of electrical, electronic and mechanical section where the software used is Ladder Logic language programming. This PLC has 8 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs. We can control four processes in this project for home automation. This modern House Project has four sensing devices and four output devices for control and indicates the process. 1. Mail Notification 2. Power Saving 3. Water Saving 4. Gas Leakage or Smoke Detection

 PLC is a compact size and Box type so wiring and troubleshooting is

very easy. We can find the mail quickly. Gas sensor is sensitive and operates the buzzer immediately.
