Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is for everyone who wants to find out more about Christianity, and to ask the difficult questions in a friendly and relaxed environment, with food, a talk and discussion groups plus one day away. We are looking to run a course this Spring if there is enough interest- please contact cell leaders, members of staff, or the church office and we will let you have more details in due course

Mission Shaped Ministry Course


As part of the Xtend project (our joint venture with St Pauls, Brixton, funded by the church commissioners) money has been earmarked to run a Fresh Expressions course: Mission Shaped Ministry. The aim of the course is to equip church groups to engage with their community and develop outreach projects. You are invited to an introduction day on 23rd March in Croydon. The course, which runs monthly over the course of a year starts on 11th May. Ask Nigel or Sue for more information or to book your place.

PCC Meeting
Please pray for: Mary Bowen and her family following the peaceful passing away of her mother last Friday All those who are away with Emerge at the Oasts this weekend, for a God-filled and up-building time together. Our PCC meeting on Monday, for clarity of thought and a clear sense of Gods leading us here at Springfield The next PCC meeting is this Monday evening, 8.00pm at the Trinity Centre

There is no cafe service on Sunday 27th at St Pauls as they have their joint patronal service that morning. We are all invited to visit the service at Wallington Girls School where we can encourage the congregation there with our news.

Churches Together
the annual service at the end of the week of prayer for Christian Unity is at All Saints, Hackbridge, 6.30pm on the 20th of January. This years theme is What does God require of us?
