Comprehensive Program for Freshers and Working Executives
The Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Clinical Nutrition has been specially designed to provide a thorough understanding of the principles of Nutrition & Dietetics. This program covers the core subjects in Nutrition and Dietetics such as, sports Nutrition/ Food Microbiology/ Weight Management/ Nutritional Support/ Measuring Nutrition/ Food Poisoning/ Nutrition during special situations. Program Duration and Exam

This program is spread over 12 months duration with 4 Modules, 2 semesters. This program consists of minimum 100 instructional hours through expert classes over VSAT, online modules and hands-on internship in one of the Apollo Hospitals. A comprehensive exam will be conducted at the end of each Module based on multiple choice questions.

Dr. Bhuvaneshwari Shankar is the Group Chief Dietician, Apollo Hospitals Group. She is a distinguished authority in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics with over 3 decades of experience. A PhD in Clinical Nutrition, Dr. Bhuvaneshwari has a specialization in critical care nutrition from Madras University. She is also a Consultant Dietician at MRF Pace Foundation for the Cricketers. Her expertise has earned her eminent positions at prestigious institutions such as MGR Medical University, Pondicherry University, Meenakshi Medical University, Chennai and Madras University. She is a Working Group Member, Food and Nutrition Board, Government of India.
