Be responsible for the overall management of the Haverfordwest cluster of Leisure Facilities to include the new Haverfordwest Leisure centre, Sir Thomas Picton Sports Centre, the Haverfordwest Tennis Centre & Portfield School Hydrotherapy pool. To be achieved through a business planning process which lays out key objectives and identifies financial performance, usage aspirations and quality targets to be reached in line with QUEST and the Councils Strategic Vision for Leisure. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Be accountable for all aspects of operation of Pembrokeshire leisure facilities in Haverfordwest.

3. Ensure a high level of customer service is woven in to every aspect of the service. 4. Liaise with the community on a regular basis through the Facilities user forum and other means. 5. Generation of income and control of expenditure in line with Council budgets, policy and financial
regulations.
6. Effective and imaginative sport, physical activity and social programming of all facilities and activities
to include memberships, activity sessions, courses, events, casual use and promotions.
7. Operate the leisure facilities, meeting and complying with the IMS and all relevant management
marketing strategies and promotions taking a corporate approach to all aspects of the service.
9. Ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of the leisure facility structure, decoration, plant and
equipment.

Be an active member of the Pembrokeshire Leisure management team contributing along with the other Managers to the operational development of Pembrokeshire Leisure. Ability to set and work to targets to achieve objectives. (Financial, usage, quality, customer service, health and safety etc.) Be able to create training programmes which qualify, motivate and equip staff to carry out their duties to a high level. Other duties as required to ensure the success of the Haverfordwest leisure facilities and Pembrokeshire Leisure as a whole.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
1. Proven ability, experience and a successful track record as a Leisure Facility Manager for at least

3. Hold a qualification in leisure management at NVQ Level 4 or above.
