1) I am old and worn 2) And have lost all my strength 3) Sufferings 4) And the history of the fight for independence 5) Have forced sacrifices 6) That know no name 7) Or life

I am advanced in age and feel weary

And have lost all my energy Hardships And the process of the struggle for freedom Have caused great losses That seemed nameless Or faceless

From the wheelchair I am bound to 8) From the wheelchair of the from now on to the end of my life rest of my days 9) I, body and energy crushed I, physically destroyed 10) See and cannot do much 11)These times are too big a challenge Observe but am unable to act The current problems are too big a fight

12) For the remnants of my crippled years 13) The net of deceit spread everywhere 14) 15) Disturbs me.

For me to face in the remainder of my handicapped years The spread of corruption everywhere Worries me

In the name of justice For the sake of justice Wake up and fight, you young people Be courageous And build a united front

A poor life this is if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.
