Common problems and solutions


1) Printer is not powered on
Check power cable
Check on/off switch
Check SMPS
Check any short in LC


2) Printer is not initializing
Check home position sensor
Check ribbon get jammed. If yes, replace ribbon cartridge
Check carriage motor
Check carriage timing belt get damaged
Finally check LC


3) Printer not printing while printout is given from PC
Check interface Cable
Check and reinstall printer driver
Check logic card


4) Pass book not feeding into printer
Check and calibrate the fiber optic sensors
Check PF belt get damaged. If yes, replace the that belt
Check PF motor
