Unemployment and the feeling of frustration

We live in a time and place where the phenomenon of the unemploymentis growing fast and is starting to affect more and more people.Unemployment is not only a socioeconomic indicator, but also a serious test for peoples mental health. Like many of you, I have also experienced the impact of these social factors and I know the stages that the person has to go through, when facing them. So I decided to preview the unemployment and its impact on mental health. It is also important to know how to maintain your emotional balance, self esteem and motivation during life in the crisis conditions created by unemployment. Perhaps many of you have gone through the life scenario of the so-called unemployed person hanging on sites like jobs, reading the job adds, filling your CV-s, going on interviews, one denial after another because of the set of requirements that you do not meet, or because they choose another person which is better than most candidates. Gradually, self-confidence and fate in yourself begins to falter, confidence and self-esteem collapse, and the person feels rejected, unnecessary and unaccepted by the society.There is a feeling of incapability,of being unfit or too old and you begin to question your self-importance. You are filled with resentment to the community, to the state that does not care and get angry because you can not cope with the situation and find the right way out for you. Usually this resentment is periodically replaced by periods of self-pity and despair. One of the most corrosive emotions accompanying unemployment is the feeling of guilt. Guilt that you can not get a job and take care of yourself and your family because you are dependent on others. Even if others do not blame you directly, you can see the condemnation and reproach in their eyes. And it feels like you could hear their words you are not searching as you should, there are jobs for the people who really want to work, but obviously you are feeling better this way, you are not capable enough Poverty, the piles of bills and debts intensify the tension and the feeling of guilt and the daily news coming from the media which tell you about the growth of the unemployment and impoverishment can just add more stress and increase the feeling of condemnation. The person who is trapped in such a position starts to gradually restrict his/her social contacts, meetings with friends and entertainment, and spends most of the time at home. Fear is mixed with a sense of urgency and they push him to cling in to the idea that he must find work at any cost and it must be done as soon as possible. Infact the more frantically the person searches, the more refusals he may get. Such people never stop thinking about all the possible options, they even loose their sleep. They feel pushed against the wall a fear which transforms into survival panic and overwhelms them.

They start feeling that they are sinking deeper and there is no escape, and they feel there is no any strength nor energy inside them. If they can not find work for a long period of time, they begin to feel useless and totally dependent on the external circumstances. They feel insecurity, emptiness and meaninglessness. They try again and again, but do not see even the faintest light at the end of the tunnel. And the frustration is coming How to deal with the frustration, how to find the exit? I believe that everything that you have to go through, has come to your life teach you a specific lesson. Unemployment also comes to teach you something. And the fact that a lot of people are going through this ordeal is definitely not accidental. It happens, strongly shakes you and make you change our thinking, attitude and reaction to the world and your rigid beliefs ; to change your life and take responsibility for you, to open your eyes to new options, never imagined before. In this sense, unemployment may become an opportunity, a chance for development and deeper understanding of yourself, a transcended chance of moderating public opinion and any existing concepts. Unemployment can be a catalyst for a change, and a good incentive to develop your creativity. As spiritual masters teach you how to transform suffering into inner peace, you can convert unemployment into freedom and independence, confidence in yourself and superior power. When you are completely overwhelmed by tension, fear, despair and sense of hopelessness, I say it is time to let things happen . Of course this does not mean that you should quit searching, but to relax, let the fear and catastrophic thinking go away, and to rely on the idea that the universe cares for you, and to let it do it. The situation is not as scary as it seems. It is the feeling of fear that makes it seem that bad. The news make your imagination create some horrifying pictures. You should remember this there is always a way out, but desperation, panic and obsession are driving the options away from you and yet preventing you from seeing all the possibilities. Remember, that the very moment the problem arises,its solution arises along with it . You only have to see it. And this can not happen if you are desperate and scared. Do not treasure the idea that if you find a job, everything will be fine and it will bring you the necessary security and freedom. As a result of my experience, I realized that when the universe takes my safe incomeaway from me, it is not to punish me, or because Im not good enough, but to make me realize that I have clung to one idea which is pushing me away from what Im really looking for.

Security, freedom and independence have nothing to do with having a job and a safe income. In our world there is no such thing as security,left alone job security. Freedom and independence are an internal state, which could be achieved only by self-confidence. In fact, one of the things that we should learn from unemployment is how to have trust.It is when we let go and have trust,when the circumstances start to change and we see options which we could not see before. So, stop thinking for a moment, and stop the torturing yourself and making negative analyzes. Make your order to the universe order it to tell you what the solution for you is and be open to her answer. Visualize how you are relaxing in the embrace of a loving Superior Power and you let it do the best for you. Sometimes you just have to step back or to change your direction, in order to find the right path and see the opportunities. These days, when I was handing out my laundry, I dropped a button. I looked down from my balcony trying hard to find it but I couldnt. Then I took a step back and I saw it hidden under the washing basin. This often happens in life, sometimes we have to step back in order to see the whole picture and see what has been hidden from our eyes. Think of what unemployment has come to teach you. If you are currently dependent on a person from your family, maybe you have to learn to receive. The universe cares for you and now it has decided to provide you with everything you need. Allow yourself to receive and to be taken care of and do not blame yourself that you can not give back. You have enough opportunities to give, if not something tangible, it could be love, support or a smile. Do not connect giving and receiving only with money ! Be grateful regardless of the way the universe has decided to take care of you. And when you are grateful, the energy of gratitude will attract more things to you to be grateful for. There is also a possibility that the universe has a better plan of achieving your wishes and that through unemployment you can search and find the right place for you. Write down what you have learned from unemployment and what you can thank it for. For example it has made you more flexible, responsible, strong, creative,you learned to cope with the vicissitudes of life and to have more confidence in yourself Do not blame or criticize yourself, try not to feel sorry for yourself. Know that when you blame yourself you will be blamed by the others. Do think of yourself as a bum, weak person or a slacker. Remember, you deserve the best and this does not change if you are currently unemployed or if you have difficulties. Get rid of the restrictive view that you must work in order to be somebody. Do not let the fact that you are unemployed change your view of yourself.

The moment you feel rejected is the right time to truly believe in yourself. Whatever happens , love yourself and take very good care of yourself. You should now love yourself even more and be self-supportive. If you do not value yourself , no one else will do it. Wake up every morning with the words, I am able, I am valuable and worthy man, I deserve. Of course, it is pointless to blame society, the state or fate. Take responsibility for your life. Perhaps this is a chance to start something new and to change your life. Disregard the public opinion, and open your mind. Do not consider yourself unemployed. This word is closely connected to many unpleasant associations . You are not without a job, just not currently doing what society defines as something that everyone should do. Finding a job is not the only way to get what you want and what you need. It is possible to start your own business, to rediscover some forgotten dreams, to manifest your creativity and even achieve something new which will exceed your expectations. Resist the panic. Do not listen to news, try to meet positive and confident people. Grief, complaint and lament will bring more frustration. Pay attention to your thoughts and the words you use. Of course, I do not mean repeating that everything is fine. This will be an attempt to deceive yourself. But it is useless repeating that the situation is getting worse, there is no exit, no work, no money. It is better to think about how you can take advantage of this situation. Indeed, it is no secret that unemployment is sometimes the best moment for the realization of an idea. Change it from being focused on fear and debt to what you have . Try to think as if your debts have been paid. Try to experience the present moment and trust. Provoke the feeling that your problems are already solved and enjoy life. I know that feeling like that seems to e an impossible task especially when you are going through some rough time. But this is the best way to get out of the vicious circle. One of the most effective methods of dealing with frustration is the coordination of intention, which is introduced to us by Vadim Zealand. In general, coordination of intention is when we perceive a negative event positively. Here is what Vadim Zealand says about coordination: Every event in life-line has two branches in a favorable and in an unfavorable direction. Each time you face one or another event you choose how to perceive it. If you see it as a positive event you fall into the favorable branch line of the live-line. But the tendency to negativism forces you to express discontent and to choose the unfavorable branch. People often say: trouble never comes alone. But a series of troubles does not exist because of the trouble itself, but because of your attitude towards it. The pattern is formed by the choice that you make at the node. The principle of coordination of intention allows you to always fall on the right life line. If you think that your life is now meaningless, you should remember that work is not everything in this world. If you currently do not have a job, it does not mean that you have lost the meaning of your life or you are useless.There are a thousand other ways in which you can add meaning to your life and make it useful.
