1. RELEASE CONTENTS

Recommended configuration would be to install NESTERserver on a standalone computer. Install Job Submission on the AccuMark workstations and network them to the NESTERserver computer.

NESTERserver Update for AccuMark 8.3

New simple installation procedure installs the UltraQueue and NESTERserver update for AccuMark 8.3.

2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

These procedures describe how to install NESTERserver update for AccuMark 8.3. This task consists of loading the software, entering the NESTERserver HASP key and license code and GERBER license file and key. Follow these procedures each time NESTERserver software is reloaded.

AccuMark Users

Before installing NESTERserver on an AccuMark, check for:

a.) Windows XP or Vista (with current service packs) b.) AccuMark 8.3

c.)

d.) Valid NESTERserver HASP key and separate 6.1 NESTERserver license codes for NESTERserver GERBER version 8.x key and an updated 8.3 corresponding license file.

512 MB memory (recommended)

Security Key Installation NESTERserver requires license codes for NESTERserver. Ensure that you have the license code(s) for the NESTER “HASP” key before you start the installation. The license codes are unique to each HASP key (serial number). If you do not have the codes please get the serial number of the HASP key and contact Gerber Service for the code.

UltraMark requires a Gerber 8.3 security key and license file. Ensure that you have the small white security key and its corresponding license file.

The keys should be attached to the station you are going to run NESTERserver on.

existing keys. Attach the smaller key to the printer port and then attach the NESTER HASP key. Re-attach the printer cable. Turn the PC on.

Each user’s jobs submitted will be listed in the queue to be processed in the order they were received. Each system will be able to view the progress by seeing the UltraQueue screen on their individual system.

For the NESTERserver system – for best results – should be a stand-alone computer loaded with computer speed and memory for the best processing results possible. NESTERserver and UltraQueue software should be loaded on this computer – no need for marking system software.

Software Installation for NESTERserver/NESTERpack

Log on to the PC as an ADMINISTATOR and insert the AccuMark Family CD into your CD- ROM drive. If your CD does not start up automatically, select “My Computer”, click the icon that

represents your CD-ROM, and select “install.htm.” Select OPEN if the File Download dialog displays. At this point you can perform the following:
