Team Green Suspension Tuning Chart

The information contained in this chart is compiled from information obtained from Team Green experiences working with riders throughout the USA. This information is intended to be used as a starting point and individuals should test all changes in order to obtain maximum performance

Please see chart overleaf.

Special Notes
* Fork Height is measured from top of fork tube to top of fork clamp. ** Stock 86.6 mm 2002 >> KX65 can be exchanged for 85.3 or 87.3 mm to raise or lower the seat by 4.5 mm each. **** Refer to 2007 >> KX65 Owners handbook for position information. KX250/450 recommended to have the axle pushed back creating a longer wheelbase for improved stability and traction. This will require a longer chain. Taller riders may not benefit from the longer wheelbase.

Footnotes Rebound and compression adjustments are the number of clicks out from full hard (all the way in). Front fork oil level in millimetres (mm) is a measured distance or in ccs for a measured volume. Rear shock sag level is measured in millimetres (mm). Optional spring part numbers can be found in the parts catalogue. Special Note Team Green recommends all suspension sag measurements be performed when cold. Always test new settings before racing. N/mm = Newtons/millimetre. Kgf = Kilograms force. Conversion Formula - N/mm Spring Rate x 0.102 = Kgf/mm Spring Rate Kgf/mm Spring Rate x 9.807 = N/mm Spring Rate Rider weights on chart is shown in pounds. The following is the conversion from pounds to kilograms. 55 - 65 = 25 30 kg. 75 85 = 32 38.5 kg. 85 100 = 38.5 45 kg. 145 -155 = 66 70 kg. 165 -180 = 75 82 kg. 65 - 75 = 30 34 kg. Up to 75 = Up to 32 kg. 100 115 = 45 52 kg. 150 165 = 68 75 kg. 175 185 = 80 84 kg. 70 85 = 32 38.5 kg. 75 100 = 32 45 kg. 115 125 = 52 57 kg. 155 -175 = 70 80 kg. 185 -195 = 84 89 kg.
