Part 1:
Read the story to make sure you have a deep understanding of it. Turn the story into a poem o Your poem needs to include dialogue (10 lines) o Your poem needs to include rhyme (10 lines)

Part 2:
Fill out a plot map for the poem. o I do not expect this to be the exact same as the story as you are deleting/changing part of the story. Tell me how you answer the conflict in your resolution

Part 3:
Write a paragraph 5-7 sentences comparing one of the lines that rhymed in your poem to the line to in the story. How did the rhyme change the meaning of the poem? Write a second paragraph analyzing how the meaning changed between the mediums. What changed when you went from a story to a poem.
