Substitute material for azobis (isobutyronitril) (ABN) without formation of toxic tetramethylsuccinonitril (TMSN). Xanthogenate/LP allows tin-free cyclisation reactions in organic synthesis (S.Z. Zard et al., Tetrahedron 1998, 54, 2087). Further information on suitable initiators for radical synthesis is given in our application brochures on this subject.
