SAP is DB Independent (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, SAPDB, Sybase Informix (Obsolete) 3. SAP Contains rich set of Modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, HR, PP, PS, QM, PM., etc) which are used to qualify a ERP Product 4. SAP Supports Small, Midsized (SMB) to large enterprises and cut down the license cost to reach them. 5. SAP Support various industries such as Textiles, pharma, chemical, mining, oil, gas, healthcare, insurance and banking .it provides Addon's, preconfigured scenarios to suit the requirement of the above industries and reduce the time for implementation (1month) 8. SAP provides Role based, menu based, field level security to protect the sensitive information (SAP Security).it also comply with Egovernance 9. SAP supports various Interfaces Mobile, SMS, PDA, Time Recording devices, Bank interfaces, fax Interfaces etc (Mobile Infrastructure) 10. Basis Support is an activity which is used to provide run time support to the implemented systems based on SLA (Service Level Agreement) There could be various levels of Support which is based on the organization Size. It also includes Offshore, Onsite, Right Shore Support .The Support can be 24X7X365, 16X5 or 8X5 The Following Activities are performed by a basis Consultant Performed Capacity Planning on Storage to handle the abnormal growth Perform SAP environment builds and refreshes using Homogenous and heterogeneous system copy Defined Printers and Resolved printer issues Good working knowledge in configuring and tuning SAP web and application Server Responsible for SAP support, monitoring and performance management of all Business Suite components. Provided guidance in requisite system software and hardware as well as developed procedures for SAP application change control. Manage the SAP environment, including database and application design as well as Enhancement Pack, Support Pack Stack and Analysis.
