Ive received emails and there is strong commentary on sites such as The Friendly Atheist and ChristianNightmares. In all there are just over 500 web-site listings and a large number of comments. ! This is surprising to me since we are a tiny church out in the country-side of Newberry County, SC. Yet, if I were speaking a lie, no one would care. It is

! The vast majority of the rather plentiful comments on these websites are of the m o c k i n g v a r i e t y. T h a t i s d u e t o Conrmation Bias: You favor only information that conrms your belief You reject evidence that opposes your belief and become an even stronger believer in the lie you covet, even when the new information proves your belief to be false.

Since truth is loud, the mockers intention is to silence what he fears is the truth. Since mocking entertainment is not based on truth but on the feeling of truth, the entertainers resort to moralizing the opposition. Judging the opposition as a moral failure and a threat to the prosperity of the whole, then it is quite easy to motivate a set of believers into demolishing those who dont believe.

! This is what we see on CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, etc. Weve endured it from National Public Radio for decades. Its the same people saying the same things to the same people over and over again to reinforce what they want to believe is true. Mocking Entertainment ! The easiest method to say the same thing over and again while sounding like new information is to mock the opposition. Cutting remarks entertains the listener by creating new slander disguised as facts. Mocking entertainment is a very effective method to introduce and maintain a mass belief system. Mocking is based not on the truth, but on the feeling of truth. Truth needs no backing. It is its own validation. Thus, the believer of the truth has no fear that his belief will fail. The one who knows that his belief is not rock solid will resort to mocking to defend his belief.

! This is how the Nazis convinced an entire population that the Jews needed to be exterminated. The Jewish Question centered on the truth of who they are. The Jews were highly successful in Germany. The Nazis mocked the Jews as ignorant, uneducated, and a drain on society which was absolutely false or that they were selsh and greedy. The loud truth was that the Jews were much more successful than the Germans and, thus, the Jews had to be silenced.1

and entertaining its respective viewership with the ultimate goal of destroying the opposition. Guests are brought on their shows to be the object of mockery to appease their viewers sense of superiority in their beliefs as the beliefs of the victims are shown to be foolish. Not that much different from the Romans feeding Christians to the lions. ! With regards to homosexuality in America, both sides of the issue are desperately trying to line up reasons of morality as to why the other side should be fed to the lions. The truth is that there really is not much difference between the opposing sides. The main difference is that one side believes that homosexuality is good and the other side believes that it is bad. Both hold onto their beliefs based on the feelings of truth. From this both sides resort to mocking the opposition. Not much beyond senseless destruction gets accomplished.

If we believe the Truth, then our faith will and does move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Conrmation Biases only decorate the faith in feelings with factoids. ! Isaiah 8:12 Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.

! The problem for both sides is that they are searching for data to support their feelings. And this is the very denition of Conrmation Bias. Because the motivation is to prove the truth of the feeling, then the data collected is automatically rendered invalid. ! Because the data is not in itself truth, then both sides desperate to collect more data that proves the oppositions beliefs are fallacies. If the oppositions positions are shown and then seen as invalid, then one will attempt to gain the moral authority to silence and even destroy the opposition. Thus the Germans felt they

But, they will certainly be overwhelmed with fear. ! Christians are not to think like the world for we are not of it anymore than Jesus is of it. It is the Truth that the world rejects and hates and it is why we are rejected and hated. (Not exactly rocket science here.) Unfortunately, too many people who call themselves Christians are afraid of being hated. This causes them to act like the world.2 This then traps them into avoiding holding onto rock-solid Truth for Truth becomes a redhot potato. ! Faith in feelings causes Christians to believe in what is not the unmovable Rock.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Papal Condemnation of Galileo in 1633 Whereas you, Galileo, son of the late Vaincenzo Galilei, Florentine, aged seventy years, were in the year 1615 denounced to this Holy Ofce for holding as true the false doctrine taught by some that the Sun is the center of the world and immovable and that the Earth moves, and also with a diurnal motionfollowing the position of Copernicus, which are contrary to the true sense and authority of Holy Scripture.3

Contrary to "true sense"? What Scripture? ! The verse often quoted to prove the the Bible is a foolish rendering of ignorant men is:
Psalm 104:5 He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.

! You can never take refuge and be totally protected in faith based on feelings from Conrmation Biases decorated with factoids. They will always fall to the enemy. A Historical Example of Conrmation Bias in the Church ! Below is a good example of how a Conrmation Bias concerning homosexuality will fail the believer of it.

! Pope Urban VIII was a weak pontiff who feared man. Though he didnt necessarily believe Galileo to be wrong on his theory of Heliocentrism, to prove his strength, he went along with the men of his court to condemn Galileo for having published a work that, in effect, condemned the Catholic Churchs belief in Geocentrism. ! It is amazing how as the world attacks Christians for holding onto the Truth, it also gets disgusted and even furious when we dont hold onto the Truth. A great lm that depicted this phenomena is Saved. I took the men of our church to see it simply because it shows how non-Christians view Christians and the message it had for us. The movie is a great admonishment by the world who are disgusted with faithless hypocrites. Even the world knows that Christians are suppose to have a rock-solid faith. As a side note: When we led into the nearly empty theatre, the only other movie viewers was a solitary middle-aged couple of rather obvious lesbian leanings. They were certainly quite surprised that I had brought half our church to see what they were certain was going to support their anti-church sentiments.

themselves that public opinion must be controlled to support the Catholic Churchs stated belief on the subject which is good for the people of the church. The reality was that controlling the masses was good for the leadership for it allowed them to enjoy the benets of their various ofces. ! For the hundreds of years after the condemnation and even with mounting evidence to the error of geocentrism, Catholic Church leadership continued to denounce heliocentrism. In 1990 when the scientic evidence was clearly in favor of heliocentrism, church leadership said the Catholic Churchs position at the time of Galileos condemnation was basically true at the time.4 ! Two years later, Pope John Paul II apologized for the churchs condemnation of Galileo and recognized his scientic brilliance and theologians foolishness for misinterpreting scripture. ! The product of the Catholic Churchs Conrmation Bias against Galileo was to encourage those in the scientic community to completely disregard the Bible and anything and anyone connected to Christianity. This then created a new Conrmation Bias within science against the church. What a mess. ! The point for discussing Galileos condemnation was to expose how the leaderships faith in a feeling of the truth of geocentrism contributed to their irrational behavior. When we believe something is true because it feels true, then we will react irrationally to anything

that threatens the good feelings we have about our faith. A Current Example of Conrmation Bias in the Church ! Currently, most of the public American church leadership is engaged in a serious Conrmation Bias concerning homosexuality. Their feelings of truth are now and will certainly cause many to have a crisis of faith when their good feelings of their belief are successfully threatened. ! The following statement of faith or position on homosexuality is an excellent example of how Satan, the Father of Lies (John 8:44) sets up Christians to become severely disappointed in what they so rmly believe.
Family Research Council believes that homosexual conduct is harmful to the persons who engage in it and to society at large, and can never be afrmed. It is by denition unnatural, and as such is associated with negative physical and psychological health effects. 5

! On the surface, most all Christians would agree with FRCs statement of why they are against homosexuality. But, this is not a why of their position that can stand any attack against it. The instant plastic surgery and other medical advances appear make sodomy as safe and disease-free as vaginal intercourse, their reason-set begins to fail. It is a reason-set for it is not Truth from the unmovable Rock.

! I used the word appear to provide a light on how deception will do the job of disarming Christians whose faith is based on Conrmation Biases rather than on what God says. God never actually says that homosexuality has negative and psychological heath effects. When the Christian who has faith in FRCs position on homosexuality is confronted with the appearance of something that feels more true, his faith will fail against anything that appears to render his beliefs false. ! The one portion of FRCs position that is closer to the truth is that homosexuality is unnatural. God, in fact, does say that homosexuality is unnatural:
Romans 1:24-27 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creatorwho is forever praised. Amen.

natural relations and men abandoned natural relations with women. The phrase natural relations in verse 26 and natural relations with women in verse 27 is the same Greek word chresis (crh'si). Chresis literally means the sexual use of a woman. (Uh oh. I as a man have just committed the unpardonable act in the American church for admitting that God created woman for a set of purposes one of which is to sexually satisfy a man.) ! The reason why need to understand exactly what chresis means is that the sexual use of a woman is very important to God. These verses with Genesis 1:27 (...created male and female...)we should see that God created women to be used sexually by men. More specically from Genesis 2:24 (For this reason a man will ... be united to his wife and they will become one esh), a man must use his wife sexually for God commands him! ! Good grief. This is not rocket science. How else are we men to fulll the commands of God to marry, have children, and rule the earth? (Genesis 1:28). ! Men in the church are so terried to expose what God says about being male and female that they are responsible for the enormous slide of debauchery found in the church today. Fear grips them at the thought of how women in their church will react if he were to actually say that a man is to use his wife sexually. Thus generations of young people within the church have fallen into sexual misfortune because men are afraid. Lives are ruined for the sake of keeping feminist in the church happy.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

! Unnatural (para phusis; parav fuvsi) in the Greek means against the nature of things which certainly seems to support FRCs statement that homosexuality is by denition unnatural. But the red-hot potato that the FRC either avoided or did not understand has caused them to not clearly state the Truth on which their position would have been unmovable like Jesus Himself. ! In Romans 1:26 & 27, the NIV translates that women exchanged

! The fact, the absolute truth is that God created the woman for the man:
Genesis 2:18 The Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. 'helper suitable for him' (ezer:rz[) - one that is perfectly made to help and relieve 1 Corinthians 11:8-10 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.

! God created mankind as male and female. Male is zakar (rkz) which means sharp penetrating point and erect penis. Female is neqevah (hbqn) which means receiver and bored through. ! Obviously then, God create men as zakar to penetrate and bore through neqevahs hole that receives zakar, that is, her vagina. God did not create a mans anus to receive another mans erect penis. In fact, God intentionally created the lining of the intestine to be fragile enough as to not be able to accept large hard objects without tearing. Even microscopic tears of this lining introduces a myriad of infectious material into the receiving mans body. ! God created a man to have sex with a woman - his wife. Never does God ask in His word, Now Adam, are you attracted to this woman I created for you? If so, then have sex with her. ! No. God never asks us if we are attracted to the opposite sex or not. He just commands us to marry and have sex with the opposite gender. The Arguments For Homosexuality ! There are several main arguments that are used to justify homosexuality. Weve heard them all, yet most people have a hard time standing rm against the gay reasoning. Really, though, when you hold onto the truth of how and why

! Because men did not have the full truth of who they are as men and their wives as women, they do not know that God has His promise to all men; God has a wife for every man. She is the one that the man is to focus on and in whom he nds his help in the work and sexual relief. No man can truly help and relieve another man. ! God denes the sexuality of marriage when He describes the rst marriage:
Genesis 2:24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

! Nowhere in the Bible does God ever describe a marriage of two men or two women. God just didnt create mankind for homosexuality. Remember how God created us:
Genesis 1:26-28 26 Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.

God created us, then the arguments for homosexuality dont stand a chance.
If They Love Each Other... Gay marriage is about love...They are people in love and just like ourselves want a document to state it Why can't they get married? Give gays a chance to love and keep the sanctity of marriage.6

Obama is a total liar when he claims that gay marriages are monogamous. The liberals who are supporting gay marriage know absolutely nothing of the gay lifestyle. The gay bar is really the center of life for most homosexuals. They classify themselves as either "tops" (the one who screws) or "bottoms" (the one who gets screwed) and that is how they have structured their entire culture. Unlike a man and a woman, two men need to know who plays the role of male, and who plays the role of female - set sexual positions - and homosexual re l a t i o n s a re t r u l y a h o o k i n g u p arrangement.The public is so brainwashed to blindly accept gay relationships. Sexual perversions are widespread among gay men and involve urine, feces, and painful sex. Most gays are empty voids and ll their lives with sex and drugs. There is also a lot of anger among gay men. They are angry at their disorder, and display their anger by lashing out at normal healthy society.7 Homosexuality revolves totally around sex, pure and simple. Few homosexual men ever form relationships, and nearly all homosexual men are attracted to much younger men. Homosexuality is truly a compulsive disorder. me. I wanted love, but all the gay men wanted was sex. It was only this year (2012) when I read a Catholic site on the Internet that listed homosexuality as a disorder - specically "same sex attraction disorder" and I launched into a huge research project and realized, based upon my lifeand all of the compulsive sex, that the Church was right that it truly is a disorder. It became clear that the psychiatric profession was in error 8 that homosexuality was very much either a mental or developmental disorder. I only realized that homosexuality was a pathology this year. Prior to the sexual revolution, many of these homosexuals still got married and had children because society's attitudes were so prohibitive. Today anything goes and the homosexuals are now looking for "bi-curious" men. [As] one of your articles stated, homosexuals really love straight men. They would do anything to get at an attractive straight man. Otherwise, most homosexual men prefer younger homosexual men by about 20 years and after about age 45, they start to get depressed and end up hiring young male prostitutes and risking their lives for sexual thrills. I have only known a few homosexual men to be attracted to underage boys, but there is an entire separate culture built on that. The younger homosexual men hate the older homosexual men for no other reason than they are no longer beautiful and think they should kill themselves. The idea of a homosexual community is a farce because homosexuals hate each other m o re t h a n t h e y h a t e E v a n g e l i c a l Christians. Almost all homosexual men

want masculine men and hate other homosexual men who are feminine. Also - so many homosexuals mix drugs in their sex. They need to do this to be passive anally with other men. The good, decent, and honest AfricanAmerican population of California who voted in large numbers against gay marriage know more about simple biology and natural law than the Ph.D.s and intellectuals who pushed gay marriage on the overall population of California.

! So in the authors example, Blacks in California knew the truth while the intellectuals wished homosexuality was the same as heterosexuality.! ! Remember the truth that God created us zakar and neqevah to be united into one esh. He did not say:
If there is love between the two, a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one esh.

! ! In fact, God never says in any part of His word that love is a precondition to marriage. He just commands it. ! With this understanding of the truth, then the argument that well, they love each other doesnt y. For if God doesnt make this a condition for marriage between a man and a woman, then why would it have any weight for two men or two women saying they are married?

Hes Sexually Attracted to Other Men / Born Gay

! The argument that a man who is sexually attracted to other men doesnt y either if you understand the truth in how God physiologically created us. ! There is a reason for this. We can gain and lose sexual attraction to almost anything. ! One man only got sexually excited with his cowboy boots on. After years of urging from his wife, he got counsel and discovered that he had acquired this sexual fetish when he was younger by masturbating with his boots on. When he ejaculated while looking at his boots, his brain imprinted the image. ! The brain is an amazingly adaptive organ. The man who was 40 years old at the time and had ejaculated with his boots on for 28 years, was able to reimprint in his mind the image of his wife. ! A man who has a sexual xation on other men can certainly learn to have sex and be quite sexually attracted to his wife. If he wants to be obedient to God, God will certainly help him do this as He created the man. Its ridiculous to think otherwise. ! The homosexual community cries fowl over what I just said. So much so that they are trying to get laws passed to prevent anyone from counseling homosexuals to become heterosexuals even if the man or woman wants to become heterosexual. That effort in itself loudly proclaims that the gay community is afraid of the truth.

! Just look at their argument that some people are just born gay:
Most of the gay activists in the United States do not want to nd any freedom and choice involved in their way of life, and they are ercely determined to prove that there is no way out of it either. People usually resist the idea that their behavior is driven by unchangeable, biological factors, as in feminist arguments over innate differences between men and women, or in the restorm over the genetics of IQ and a potential correlation to racial groupings. But in the case of homosexuality, many people rush to embrace scientic research, however imsy, that seems to reduce this particular behavior not only to prior causes, but even to the end point that no choice is involved at all.9

! Feminists dont want scientic research that too easily proves the differences between men and women. Gay men want science to prove that their behavior is forced on them by their genetic make up which cannot be seen with the naked eye. ! This conict doesnt make sense because homosexuality and feminism dont make sense when compared to how God created mankind. About Faith! ! God is clear about our faith:
Ephesians 2:8 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Isaiah 7:9 If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all. Luke 7:50 Jesus said to the woman, Your faith has saved you; go in peace. Ephesians 2:10 For we are Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Faith comes from God. He requires us to believe what He has set before us. If we believe Him, He saves us. We must have faith in order to do the work He prepared for us to do.

! Since we are in the world, but not of it, we must stand rm in the faith He gives us and do the work. Then you will be able to stand against the worlds attempt to get you to question your faith.

! I am to stick to teaching and ministering to you all. God has not called me to confront homosexuals in the world. Even now as I speak to you, I am not speaking to them. Some may hear this message and take it to heart. Many likely will attack it, misconstrue it, slander me, etc. So what? That doesnt affect my faith so long as I do the work God has called me to do. There is where I am safe.
