1 Overview
The project aim is to develop a system for classified advertisement which will provide classifieds to the customers through SMS and it is named as E-classified service. Through this service Buyers can get the classifieds as per their requirements as well as the Sellers can publish their Adds to the customers. This project will help to overcome barriers associated with easy Classifieds Adds (marketing) service to the country. This system has used a simple and low cost method which is SMS. It is web based application which each participant has user name and password and different level of authentication. Each participant is required to enter his message or his request. E-Classified Service provides an attractive and user friendly text massage interface to the user. This is an enhancement compare to other classifieds service since this service will be provided through the mobile SMS/ MMS & Web. Below are the steps that user has to follow to get entitled for the service. 1.To get this service,First user has to buy a prepaid card from the communication or user can activate his classified service with mobile service provider. 2. The User can select the Prepaid Card from 03 different packages, as the validity period of 3-months,6-months and 9-months. 3. User can Post his maximum adds using that service package and system will validate user's limit and the service validity period.

4. The format of the classified which the user needs to post ("SELL<space> HOME <space>COLOMBO2<space> 20perchaseupstier call 777901967"). 5. Pictures of the classifieds can be stored using MMS and web application for the Classifieds which the user needs to push through the service and to get through the service. 6. All the classifieds are send based on the request (Location, Category)to the customer and all the classifieds can be viewed through the Web as well. The Automated system would indicate all of the Adds and Request ads. The advantage is proposed system are low cost, simplicity all of and its very efficiency.

2 Aim
The aim of the Project is to design and implement a E-SMS-MMS Service. Which would enhance the productivity of country and build a easy service to the People.

3 Objectives
Prepare the Terms of Reference. Carry out a study on the problem domain in order to find the best policy to mange service. Carry out a details literature survey on the existing system in the market. Carry out a study on mobile communication technology and SMS gate ways, the functionalities and usability of the technologies to assist the implementation. Carry out a study on currently available web servers, SMS gateways, database technologies and available tools, which would be useful in development of the prototype. Analyze the gathered data to find out the bottleneck of the system in order to gather requirements. Design the modules of the prototype, which would perform individual tasks. Prepare the Interim Report. Develop the prototype by integrating the individual modules, which would handle the SMS and MMS to operate online with the use of mobile phone. Testing the pro type to identity the errors and to validate the output of the prototype and to do the necessary adjustments. Critically evaluate the prototype with the use of demonstrations and questionnaires. Prepare the Final Project Report.

4 Legal, Social, Ethical and Professional

In Sri Lanka to promote any product or Service through SMS, Service provider has to take Customer's acceptance at the time the Mobile connection is issued. Since this service is provided through SMS which is a low cost communication method this will be convenient for everyone. This system has developed using open source technologies, due to that Users will not face any license issues.
