Lukos Agro is specialized in processing fruits and vegetables into high quality concentrated puree. Given the strong leadership in industrial rening of agricultural raw materials, we guarantee products that only few manufacturers in the global markets are able to produce. The company is fully owned by Lukos Group SA which represents the holding company for a series of investment projects in CE Europe.

LOCATION We are located in the nearby of Murska Sobota, in the Pomurje Region of Slovenia - on the border of Austria, Hungary and Croatia. Considering its ideal geographical location and a centuries-old tradition of growing fruits, this is the perfect location for our production activities.

TECHNICAL DATA The production plant extends on a 4000 m2 surface. It includes a controlled atmosphere storage facility (ULO) for fresh fruit and vegetable, with a capacity of 3500 tons, and a separated processing area for the production of fruit / vegetable puree, with a processing capacity of 7 ton/hour.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Lukos Agro has a low environmental impact factory that covers all power needs from roof PV installations, uses advanced water ltering technology and natural gas as fuel for steam generation.

RAW MATERIAL TECHN0LOGY The technology used in the production process combines top Italian engineering and German processing equipment. It allows cold and hot extraction processing. The main benets are to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of processed fruit/ vegetables preserving therefore aroma, taste and color. The production cycle begins with the careful selection of seasonal fruits derived from our own orchards (120 ha) and the Goriko Natural Park. In order to obtain the best possible products, Lukos Agro is permanently dedicated to the reconstruction of old orchards and the economic development of the whole region.

Wellness Breakfast is a new, innovative offer in restaurants and bistros for guests who want a healthy, tasty and wholesome morning meal. Over the past ve years, breakfast has accounted for more than 60% of trafc growth for all types of restaurants. Among breakfast customers at all QSRs, 40 percent rated portability as the most important factor in choosing a breakfast restaurant.1

Our hot Apple Cream is a revival of a well known Slovenian food originally known as eana. A simple comfort meal traditionally prepared at home by cooking apples - today has become the ultimate healthy snack to be consumed on the go.

THE IDEA The base for the meal is Apple Cream served in a bowl (hot or cold). In the Supplements Box/Drawer customers nd all kinds of different ingredients to add to their cream to complete the meal.

Apple puree is often used as a base for wide range of products such as smoothies, llings, shakes and yoghurts. Combined with other fruits our Apple Cream has a wonderful creamy texture and the natural sweetness from apples underlines other fruit avors making them even tastier. Because of the natural density of Apple Cream, mixing it with other types of fruit gives long-term stability to the product and solves the smoothies problem of separation of the pulp and juice after a short downtime.
