Read each night and fill in the Reading Log, remember it must be signed by a parent/guardian. Your child should be reading at least (minimum) 20 minutes each day. More than that is good too!

Math: Geometry
This week we will learn about 3 types of angles. We will identify polygons and solid shapes. We will also learn to classify triangles by their sides and angles. Please continue to study math facts each night.

Social Studies: Revolutionary War The war has started!! We have begun the Revolutionary War with the battles of Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts. We will continue the war with a study of the Declaration of Independence and important battles that took place in South Carolina.

Notes from the Teacher


*Please study multiplication facts every night. It is essential that your child memorize these facts by the end of the year. The Reedy River Race is March 1 & 2- Please send your forms in as soon as possible. This week is Spirit week. Please note the calendar above. Make sure that your child is at school ON TIME! We start working as soon as the children arrive and those that get to school right at 8 am or after are at a disadvantage.
