Tell me about yourself: Tell me about yourself: Plus, passion unearths enthusiasm.

Well I googled myself this morning and I found that My passion is towards something that I never exp before, I like to try something new as long as it is reasonable, My personal philosophy is that u have to be flexible in this life, and based on my philosophy of life I highly convince that A major doesnt predetermine what I end up doing. I believe that fresh grad like me have to be flexible, we cant really restrict ourselves to our own major because real life itself comprises of almost every field of study as our daily life also involve about acc, econ, science lawetc Communication skills ranked as the number-one for me, Honesty and integrity, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and motivation followed in rank, none of which directly relate to a specific major. And I highly believed that I have all of its. Even higher education degrees that lead to specific careers allow for plenty of flexibility. a lawyer could go into consulting or teaching. Not that I have zero knowledge in acc/eco, I did took those subjects during my foundation studies (sort like diploma) and managed to achieve high performance on both subjects.

Why fresh grad should be hired/why I should be hired? If none of the company in Malaysia is dare enough to fill the vacant position in their company with fresh grads like us, how can we utilize the knowledge, skills and exp that we have gained from our degree into practice? Or in other words it will be useless. Some companies are x willing to employ us due to the absent of experience. In my opinion, Exp is meant to be sought if, everyone needs someone with exp then fresh grad wont be able to be employed for the entire of his/her life. - The fresh graduate would have the "book knowledge" for the position required and the company can "mold" the graduate to the systems requirement;smost importantly someone should be hired based on attitude, personality, and demonstrated ability to learn. Basic technical skills can be trained, personality can't be. -Lower cost will involved, since we have no exp then you guys dont have to bother to pay us based on exp, I am willing to accept reasonable amount of remuneration. - if you hire a fresh graduate like me then you dont have to reteach me anything. I will basically learn everything from the beginning, and grow with your company. Its like writing something on an empty

white board, you can write anything without rubbing off any previous prints. Thus, unless you are looking for someone from a different culture/company to come and change your existing team dynamics and your existing work practices, I would recommend you to hire someone fresh and new like me. U guys happened to be in the same boat before; u guys should know better how hard it is to be accepted for the first time into a company. I will be grateful enough if I am being given the opp to seek my first job exp in your company.

Does the major you choose need to have a direct connection with what you do after graduation? The answer is no.

U not perfom enough in uni? Children go through school being taught that a grade is the determining factor in performance. But in the professional world, thats not how it works. Your bosses wont tell you which questions will be on the test. You dont study information to be tested on it once in your job. Your college GPA is a

combination of several factors but isnt really the best indicator of how youll perform in the working world. U will only know how I will perfom when u employed me, I guarantee that u wont be regret

2) You learn for the love of learning. Whats most important is that you absorb the material you are learning and put it to good use. You dont feel you have to justify your learning by getting good grades

12) You believe there is no correlation with good grades, effort and quality of life. You believe most of the cool kids in school who got poor grades will do great. You have example after example of very successful people who did poorly in school. You dont believe there is a correlation between education and a good life. Undoubtedly, most of the successful people you see in this world didnt have good grades

Education: Exam orientad and performance orientad = balance. So that children who cant perfom in class can perform in exam. Question as to whether the present educational system can adequately prepare students for life and work in the future. This has prompted educators and policy makers to challenge the ways and mode of how educational institutions measure the acquired learning outcomes and skills required or possessed by students and I am imoressive by the way that u guys running this centre as its really different from other academic centre in Malaysia. There is an effort to shift from the tradition ways of learning to a new method of learning, which is now called outcome based education (OBE). OBE in itself does not specify or require any particular style of teaching or learning. Instead, it requires that students demonstrate that they have learned the required skills and content. They further state that outcomes are what learners can actually do with what they know and have learnt. In other words they are the tangible application of what has been learnt. That assists the learners to know themselves. OBE compels educators to use action verbs like describe, explain, design

or produce. The convectional model of grading on a curve (top student gets the best grade, worst student always fails (even if they know all the material), everyone else is evenly distributed in the middle) is never accepted in OBE or standardsbased education. Instead, a student's performance is related in absolute terms: "Isaac knows how to write the letters of the alphabet" or "Isaac answered 75% of questions correctly" instead of "Isaac answered more questions correctly than Joseph" The effect of this shortcoming has been that the lower primary school system does not get the feedback it desires for informed improvements to be made. For instance, rather than just getting a passing grade for mathematics, a student might be assessed as level 4 for number system, level 5 for algebraic concepts, level 3 for measurement skills, and so on. This approach is valuable to schools and parents by specifically identifying a student's strengths and weaknesses. All OBE-oriented teachers should be able to think about the individual needs of each student and give opportunities for each student to achieve at a variety of levels. Thus, in theory, weaker students are given work within their grasp and exceptionally strong students are extended. Inputs Students' impulse responses Outcomes
