BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM FOR BARANGAY OFFICIALS is an approach to equip our barangay leaders and workers with the basic skills in data encoding, manipulation and application of computer program and software. This course has been developed to improve computer literacy, since computers are now playing an increasingly important role in any organization or offices. Currently we had identified that some of our barangay workers/volunteers here in Lubogan Toril are technologically unaware and need some assistance to do their task effectively and use new computer programs without large amounts of help and delay. Through this program we can help them to minimize some of their computer related expenses and reduce client service response time. The general objective of this program is to improve barangay workers competence in using computers and to train 4-5 barangay workers the basic computer operation using different softwares and applications. The target participants are the barangay kagawad of lubogan, barangay staff and sangguniang kabataan to be held at brokenshire college toril computer laboratory services room facilitated by, Mr. Sammy Lumaad, Mr. Alexander Miranda, Mr. Faust Mar Claro, Mr. James Lee and Mr. Gualberto C. Castro. The Expected outputs are to improved barangay leaders/workers competencies in using computers and basic skills in data encoding, manipulation and application of computer programs and softwares, to reduced computer-related office expenses and to reduced client service response time.
