Whats your nancial IQ?

Want feedback on how smart you are about money? Alliant can help. Our free 10-minute, nancial quiz provides a reality check. Take our self-administered quiz at www.alliantcreditunion.org and youll get a score on how well youre doing financially a score for your financial literacy n immediate, personalized report that includes tips on how to boost your financial IQ and how to use a Alliants nancial wellness resources to maximize your nancial well-being Note: your quiz results will be recorded anonymously and Alliant will not collect any information to identify you. Alliant designed this quiz to discover how well Americans are doing nancially and how we may help improve their situations. We sent the quiz to 1,000 randomly selected employed individuals in September 2012. Then, to measure how well Alliant members compare against this national average, we also sent the quiz to 1,000 of our members in November 2012. We discovered that Alliant members enjoy, on average, a nancial wellness score thats 19% higher than the national average. And that our members, on average, have a nancial literacy score 11% higher than the national average. We also found that the average American and the average Alliant member share the same top three nancial goals: 1) To save for retirement (55% of our members have this goal, compared to 48% of Americans) 2) To build up an emergency savings account (44% of our members have this goal, compared to 58% of Americans) 3) To pay off credit card debt (21% of our members have this goal, compared to 40% of Americans) Alliant will use our nancial wellness quiz to help grow our membership and to help our members to achieve and maintain their nancial well-being. I love to buy, ride, own and sell cars. I rst contacted Alliant to get Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC), an extended service warranty, for an 06 750 LI BMW I bought. Most recently, I bought MRC for my 2006 Porsche. Because of Scotts level of service, Ive referred many friends to Alliant to get MRC and theyve been equally impressed by his professionalism. If you can nd somebody who is more enthusiastic about Alliant than I am, then Id like to talk to him or her.
