CHAPTER I

PROJECT BACKGROUND

This section presents the overview of the project study. It gives an initial perspective of the impact of information & communication technologies (mention specific technological basis of the project) in the business world; and discusses an introductory background of the project, the rationale, the analytical framework, statement of the problem, initial hypothesis, the scope and delimitation of the research, significance of the research project and the meaning of terms used in the study. 2 Statement of the Problem This study aims to seek answers to the following questions: 1. Scope and Delimitation This IT-oriented research study is constituted with two major components, the aspects of conducting research, and project development. The research aspect of this study concentrates with the discussion of the analysis and interpretation of the conducted SWOT analysis of the researchers and the hypothesis testing of the study based from the assessment of the service quality of both the existing and the proposed system done by Technical Project Panelists/Evaluators. On the other hand, the project aspect of this study is focused and delimited with the presentation of the design, physical development and testing, and documenting (mention your proposed system). It also includes the formulated service operations guidelines and system maintenance procedures for the full implementation of the proposition. Other business operation procedures such as, ________, ________, and ________, are not included in the study. Although closely related, the establishment of (mention your proposed system) business terms and conditions that will serve as the contract between the business respondent and the potential clients is also uncovered for it considers corporate policies of (mention your business respondent) which marks the line of demarcation that signifies the boundaries of the research project. Significance of the Project (2 3 pages) The significance of the project study is hereby presented, as the group of individuals to which the research project would be beneficial. Specify each group (stakeholders) and discuss how they will benefit / gain from the project

4 Definition of Terms In this section, technical terminology used by the researcher to present the discussions in this project will be unlocked. The primary sources of these defined words are dictionaries and websites that relate knowledge about the focused topics. (Words should be in the order of their sequence of appearance in the project manuscript.)
