Qualification & Experience a) Recognised post graduate medical qualification and other academic qualification from a recognised institution Dean / b) Minimum of ten years teaching experience as Professor / Associate Professor / Reader Principal in a Medical College / institution. Out of which atleast five years should be as Professor in a department, Preference for these appointments may be given to the HODs. Post graduate degree in the subject with four years teaching / research experience as Associate Professor / Reader in recognized Medical College. OR a) Recognised Post graduate degree in the concerned subject b) Three years teaching / research experience as Asso. Professor / Reader in recognized Medical College. Professor c) Minimum of four research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialities as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 4 research publications for promotion to the post of Professor should be taken on cumulative basis with minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor Post graduate degree in the subject with five years teaching / research experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in recognized Medical College. OR a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject. b) Four years teaching experience as a Lecturer/Asst. Prof. in recognised Medical College. c) Minimum of two research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. Reader Provided that these research publications are published / accepted for publication in the journals by the National Associations / Societies of the respective specialities as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor a) Recognized Post graduate degree in the concerned subject. Lecturer b) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Medical College as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor Tutor / a) M.B.B.S. qualification or M. Sc. ( Medical Anatomy ) in particular subject as specified Demonst. by M.C.I. candidate possessing post graduate qualification in subject will be preferred. C) 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) General Notes :Reservation for Ladies and physically handicapped persons is as per the Govt. rules. Candidates applying for reserve category post(s) should submit caste certificate & caste validity certificate and also recent non-creamy layer certificate, wherever applicable. The benefits of reservation shall be admissible to the backward class / category candidates who are domiciled in the state of Maharashtra only. Age Limit & Educational Qualifications shall be considered up-to last date of the application & experience shall be considered up-to earlier day of the interview. The decision taken by MUHS authorities regarding essential qualifications and experience shall be applicable, from time to time. Qualified teachers above the age of 62 years will be considered for appointment of one one year, as per respective councils norms. Pay Scale is as per rules.
