The primary objective of this project is to design a spreadsheet solution using the provided CGPA and attendance data to help the client in ways as discussed below: Student Performance Tracking i. ii. Track the performance of students on a term to term basis and check for students whose performances have deteriorated considerably. Classify the courses into different groups like those which require largely quantitative, analytical skills, or application of theoretical concepts to various case scenarios. iii. Track if a students performance has been particularly below average in a specific category of courses. These would in turn help in determining the right kind of remedial actions to be targeted at the above students. Class Distribution iv. Distribute students into sections in term1 in a manner so as to ensure nearly equivalent gender ratio and average work experience across sections v. Distribute students into sections in subsequent terms ensuring nearly equivalent gender ratio, average work experience and average CGPA across sections Measure Impact of Attendance on Student/Faculty Performance vi. vii. Determine correlation of attendance and students performance in a particular subject Determine the effectiveness of faculty by taking into account the average attendance and performance of students in that subject across sections viii. For instance a tutor of macroeconomics subject would be one who has performed well in both microeconomics and macroeconomics. Find eligible students x. xi. xii.
