FEBRUARY 13: Ideas from the Intersection of Art and People - This series of 12 sessions is for people curious

about non-profit art practice. These free classes are lead by Big Car Executive Director Jim Walker and take place Wednesday from 12pm-1pm for 12 consecutive weeks. The first session is a Quick History of Art that Includes People. It's free! 16: Girls' Publishing Club: Come be a part of a community of girls who discuss big ideas together, create books, and write! Class meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 12pm-2pm for 10 weeks at the Service Center. This club is facilitated by Big Car staff member Megan Hart and costs $5 for the entire series. 16: The Art of Science Meets the Science of Art- Kids 6-12 are invited to come do science experiments and use the results to make awesome art projects! Class meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10am-12pm at the Service Center. This class is facilitated by Big Car staff member Megan Hart and costs $10 for the entire series. 20: Ideas from the Intersection of Art and People- Community and Social Experience as Art from 12pm-1pm at the Service Center. 21: Thursday Open Art- Kids of any age can explore a new medium each week with guidance from Big Car's Megan Hart. Class meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 12pm-2pm. This class is facilitated by Big Car staff member Megan Hart and costs $5 for the entire series. 21: Old Timey Letter Writing- Sneak away from electronic obligations and write handwritten letters with us! This is a one time event from 5pm to 7pm. This event is led by Big Car Program Director Anne Laker and has a suggested donation of $3. 27: Ideas from the Intersection of Art and People- Core Artist Issues: Livability, Creativity, Community, Nonconformity from 12pm-1pm at the Service Center. MARCH 2: The Art of Science Meets the Science of Art: Open to kids ages 6-12 from 10am-12pm at the Service Center. 2: Girls' Publishing Club: Open to girls ages 10-16.
