A: 4 to 8 P.M. aggravation, right sidedness, amelioration from uncovering and aggravation from cold food and drink are the four chief key-note symptoms. Q: Describe the symptoms given above in detail. A : Whatever the ailment, it is bound to have 4 to 8 P.M. aggravation in this remedy. Sometimes it may not have these hours strictly but aggravation occurs definitely during this period. This is a right-sided medicine but point note is the direction right to left. All affections commence first on the right side and afterwards they will spread to left. It is great remedy in dyspepsia. There is canine hunger but after sitting for a meal; just a few mouthfuls of food fills them up. There is a sensation as if they have eaten up to the throat. The abdomen becomes distended like a drum due to accumulation of flatulence. Patient cannot bear light clothing and is forced to loosen clothing which ameliorates. When is it useful in constipation? It is to be thought of in constipation where there has been much abuse purgatives. Constipation is more due to the presence of constriction in rectum. There is severe pain after evacuation. What is the peculiarity in diarrhoea? Chilliness in rectum before stools is a peculiar symptom. What are the urinary symptoms pointing to this remedy?

A: These patients are constitutionaury inclined towards gravel and calculi and the noteworthy symptom is the large deposit of red sand that is conspicuous in the urine. Polyuria during the night is another marked symptom and enormous quantity of urine is voided, forcing the patient to rise many time in the night. Q: What is it place in impotence? A : It is indeed one of the most valuable remedy in this annoying disease. The disease is strong by penis remain small, cold and relaxed, in capacitating the normal function of inter-course. It suits persons of feeble vitality, overtired persons, old men and also young men who become impotent due to masturbalium. Q: Give its usefulness in respiratory troubles. A: It is useful in that condition of pneumonia, where the area of hepatization is extensive and in consequence, the breathing becomes laboured. Fan like movement of alanasi is the prominent symptom. The movement is rapid, and not synchronous with the breathing. Right side is more affected. There is its usual 4 to 8 P.M. aggravation.

Q : What is its usefulness in throat ailment? A : It is an important remedy in diphtheria. The marked symptom here is the feeling of contraction is throat which prevents food and water from going down. Patient is forced to swallow often which causes stinging pain, cold drinks aggravate pain. Q : Give the symptoms of head-ache. A : Patient will get head-ache if they do not eat regularly. Right sided head-ache, ameliorated by eating something is noteworthy. Q : What is the peculiarity about emaciation? A : The upper portion emaciates while the lower portion remains plump. Q: What type of children come under its influence? A : It is suited to emaciated children, who have large heads and emaciated bodies. They cry all through the day and sleep well at night. It cures right sided hernia in children. It cures cough aggravated on waking.
Q: How does it react to sleep? A : There is extreme irritability after sleep. When awake from sleep patient are cross, scolding and screaming and behaving disagreeably.

Half-open condition of the eyes is a strong pointer. Q : Give one peculiar symptom of importance? A: Right foot hot, left foot cold is a noteworthy symptom. These patients are fault finding, domineering vehement and intolerant of con-tradiction. Unusual sadness, is marked. They weep when receiving a friend or when receiving a gift. So sensitive that they cry even when thanked.
