Special Issue on Internet of Things for wireless and mobile communication

Recent advances in the field of telecommunications notably wireless and mobile networks, terminals, devices, and operating platforms, have significantly improved our quality of life. Together they form a smart space where users can easily enjoy a variety of services any time and in any place. It has been suggested that this smart space will evolve into an Internet of all things, a term encompassing the technical and cultural shift that is anticipated as society moves towards ubiquitous forms of computing in which every object is on and connected in some way to the Internet. Despite the promising and beneficial prospects of such a world, however, the realization of smart space is still in its infancy and yet faces many technical challenges in architecture, protocols, applications, and security. This special issue will highlight the latest research results pertaining to smart spaces of Internet of Things. We welcome submissions from diverse fields including but not limited to wireless communication, wireless and mobile networks, mobile platforms, applications, and security. Topics of interest for the Special Issue include: 7 Communication and network technology for IoT 7 IoT applications and services 7 Identification for IoT 7 IoT system and network architecture 7 Embedded systems and sensor networks 7 Security, privacy, and safety technology for IoT 7 Semantic technology for IoT 7 Machine-to-machine communication/architecture/platform 7 Modeling and prototype implementation of IoT systems

Submission Instructions:
Before submission authors should carefully read over the Instructions for Authors, which are located at jwcn.eurasipjournals.com/authors/instructions. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the SpringerOpen submission system at jwcn.eurasipjournals.com/manuscript according to the submission schedule. They should choose the correct Special Issue in the sections box upon submitting. In addition, they should specify the manuscript as a submission to the Special Issue on Internet of Things for wireless and mobile communication in the cover letter. All submissions will undergo initial screening by the Guest Editors for fit to the theme of the Special Issue and prospects for successfully negotiating the review process.
